Good stay but understated sign

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Columbus, OH provided excellent service and ease of access to the Columbus Convention Center. The staff was alert and helpful; they responded well to my every need. The only improvement I would recommend is better outdoor signage. It was dark when I arrived, and I did not see the sign. A passenger in my vehicle had to point it out to me.

The service here is poor at best. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we were treated poorly. The staff ignores you at the front desk while helping others who walk up. I was told a specific amount would be held on my credit card and much more was held. I had to ask for a taxi 3 ties before valet went and got one for us. No one ever smiled or made an attempt to be friendly. Will never stay here again
