This hotel was probably the best Crowne Plaza hotel I have statyed at in the US. The rooms were decorated beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. Loved the Kuerig coffee pot in the room!

Great hotel that is located to lots of attractions. The room was awesome; new dual shower heads, mirrors on inside of clothing armoire, flat screen tv, desk with outlet for multiple devices: Air conditioner worked great. King sized bed had really comfortable pillows! Dined at the bar--good food reasonably priced! Would recommend to friends.

I have stayed in this hotel the past two years while attending a conference. I can not say enough positive things about this hotel and its staff. The rooms are modern, cozy, and clean. The staff are always the first to engage and courteous. The rooms are cleaned beyond reasonable expectation everyday. I stayed four days and each day my room looked like I was checking in. Even my laptop cords were arranged to match the world class look of the room! Don't even get me started on how comfortable the bed and pillows are!!!

We had a wonderful stay with this hotel. We were met by friendly front desk receptionist. Though had a not nice incident happened, housekeeping forgot to clean our room. We were shocked to see the room as it was how we left in that morning. But front desk Frank was able to react fast and was able to solve the problem smoothly. Thanks Frank !

Overall the stay was excellent! I had to be at the John Wayne airport twice every day for two weeks. The airport is only an 8 minute drive. I stay in Crowne Plaza hotels about 70 nights a year and I must say that this newly refurbished Crowne Plaza stands out in every way. The hotel is quiet, professional and close to the airport and shopping malls. (one of the biggest malls is just a 5 minute drive).
The frontdesk personnel is very committed to helping you in every way. I am from Europe so took the opportunity to have a lot of packages delivered to the hotel while I was in the USA which worked like a dream. They even went out of their way to help me ship some packages as well. Front desk staff like Grant and Frank make a real difference to a business stay.
The standard room was quite large for what I am used to and can be compared with a superior room in Europe. The cleaning was done very well. The complimentary coffee maker in the room was also very nice. The gym has some good equipment in it. They have a pool but I did not have the opportunity to use it.
I was reluctant to stay in a Crowne Plaza after my experiences in London but I would wholeheartedly recommend this one!

Loved our three night stay at the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa. Great location for visiting Laguna, Newport and DisneyLand. Lobby, restaurant and rooms were all beautiful with a contemporary decor - clean and sleek. Spacious rooms. Very quiet - could not hear the rooms around us or folks in the hallway, and we were right next to the elevator. Beds super comfortable. Great shower pressure in bathroom was an added bonus too.
On the negative side, the hallway carpets were stained - looked dirty. There is a fee for parking.
Overall, loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone.

This property has potential. The rooms feel more upscale but the hallways are gross; specifically, the carpeting (at least on the second floor) was full of stains. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom shower head was great but the shelving unit for shampoo and soap was missing (you could see where it used to be). I was charged $10 for parking even though no such charge was made when I stayed there in October. The reason I was given was because all the other hotels were charging; bad answer. You should continue not to charge parking and advertise it on your site. You are giving me a reason to look around.

Very nice place. Quiet even though it's close to the 405. Comfortable bed and furniture; very nice bathroom. The front desk was very responsive when I called about some noise in the parking lot late at night.

2nd stay. Very nice to have kind bed and queen sofabed for teen, good size room. The bathroom could use some minor work - towel rack was off the door. The carpet had some large sticky spot in front of the TV. Could use a good cleaning. (Room 430 something), Including either breakfast or parking would be nice. But staff is great, getting away from Orange County airport noise (where all the other hotels are) is great, rooms are very quiet. Lobby and grounds are well kept. Will come back.

Ecellent hotel with the friendliest staff. Nice clean comfortable rooms. Good Kurig coffee in the rooms. Ate breakfast and dinner there twice, Very good food.
Nice big clean pool with plenty of towels. Highly recommend this hotel

When I pulled up to this property it looked like an old, tired property. Not in bad shape, but just old, dreary, in need of a shot in the arm. I figured it's just another airport area hotel. People stay there anyway- why bother renovating it.
I was wrong. The lobby area is dated, running straight into the dining area. In this space, the hotel was like all the other tired spots. But, the front desk service was very good. Friendly, efficient. And, when I got to my room- my entire experience was changed- for the better.
Not elegant, but very nicely done. The room was comfortable. More contemporary in feel. Nice bedding. Very comfortable bed. Great....Great shower. Good lighting. I even had good room temp control.
So- for comfort, a good night rest, great shower- that's really all I want- this hotel did great. How good? I'll book it again on my next trip to that area. No question. That's the best recommendation I can give it.
I pay a lot more for much less comfort, and more hype way too often as I travel. This was a nice surprise. It'll get me looking at Crowne Plazas going forward.

About a week ago we checked into your Hotel for a short over
night stay on our way back to San Francisco. We were
given the corner room behind the elevator on the 5th floor.
What a lovely appointed room. The bathroom, bedroom area
beautifully done and interior accents lovely, which included
the linen used in both rooms. Your front desk was very helpful.
We had stayed at Crown Plaza in Queenstown New Zealand
5 years ago with the same great experience. We look forward
to future visits with your fine properties.

I was here on business and pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and considered it an excellent value for the corporate rate I received. It appears to have recently been remodeled, very nice furnishings, dining & lounge area. Can't beat the location, either.
It's the service extended to the guest that is the primary reason for this review. My room experienced a small drip/leak from the ceiling and within 5 minutes of my call a repairman was dispatched and fixed the leak and also checked on the upper guest room to ensure no additional damage or leaks. Within an hour, the night manager contacted me and kindly offered to move me and my belongings to another room. I declined as it wasn't necessary at all, very small leak and my concern was more the hotel's property than a minor inconvenience to me. I was so very impressed with the level of service extended to myself and to the other guests in the lobby. I look foward to returning to the Crowne Plaza and will highly recommend this hotel to my department.

Yes the room is very nice and the hotel has a great look to it, but the service is what seperated it. Jorge was there for check in and check out. He gave me my Platinum free breakfast coupon and while we were talking he relaized I was picking my wife up at the airport he gave me another coupon for her breakfast also. A nice touch. Also good recomendations for Dinner (go to Habana, very cool very good). I needed directions in the moning and he was glad to help.

Rooms were well decorated but not taken care of. Had issues with lighting and plumbing that were requested to be repaired (2x) and weren't. Exercise room was well equipped.

Words are hard to find to say how much the hotel provided a great experience. I had a medical need for a refrigerator and one was provided. That one item eliminated a huge problem I would have had. The room was large and all items in the room were very nice.
The bathroom had a separate commode which is not often found. The shower head was ultra large with copious amount of controlled warm water.
The staff could not be more helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

What a personable, helpful, considerate staff. From the front desk to the wait staff to the conference assistants - All there to be attentive to the customer's needs. I have not seen this kind of care in a hotel in a loooong time. I'm very impressed with the prices and the dining facility too. The prices were very fair and the food just fine.
The comfort of my room was exceptional. Truly a great experience. I have been travelling many years and this hotel is given an A++. Thank you for a great four days with you.

Ended up chosing this hotel as I traveled into Irvine last minute and many hotels were full. I was very surprised by the nicely renovated hotel and superb service. The hotel provided a shuttle to take me to a business meeting nearby and the shuttle driver wouldn't even accept a tip! I was also given a room upgrade upon check-in even though I don't have status with this chain. I'll definitely consider staying here next time I'm in Irvine.

I am a multi-year Platinum member and I am quite familiar with what to expect from this brand. My company switched to this Crowne Plaza Costs Mesa as our contract hotel for 2013, so I have already completed 4 stays and have been pleased with each one of them. This should become a training hotel for the Crowne Plaza brand.
I am going to echo the countless of other 5 star reviews and will summarize my experiences as follows:
1) Truly caring and extremely friendly staff, from every department. This is very consistent over the 8 nights I have spent at this property.
2) Impeccably clean and modernly decorated rooms with a very business friendly desk - plenty of power plugs on the desk and a well-managed internet system that allow guests get an equal share of the available bandwidth.
3) One of best hotel bath amenity collections from TempleSpa, that will ensure you'd have a good hair and skin day after your stay.
4) A 24hr fitness center with most commonly needed equipment, all in good and working order.
5) High quality in room Keurig coffee and tea amenities.
6) Well priced breakfast buffet with a fair selection of high quality breakfast staples including Starbucks coffee.
As a road warrior that spend more nights in hotels than my own home, I have seen my share of hotels. This property excels in every area and manages to ensure the excellent service remain consistent over multiple stays.
Kudos to the hotel management for making guest and employees equally happy.

Words can not express my gratitude to the staff and hospitality team at this hotel! From the idea of hosting our team meeting in Costa Mesa to the final day of my stay, every detail was handled with care and excellence!
My team of 75 enjoyed themselves! I didn't hear a single complaint about anything! We were very well taken care of by Oscar, Keith, Lori, Javier, Dave, Greg and Kari. Guys we thank you so much, and we can't wait to see you again! You truly EXCEEDED the expectation of our group. Although we were in your hotel, it truly felt like home!
