Great hotel easy access to airport

We stayed at this hotel before we flew on holiday. It was convenient as my family live in this area. We booked the suite because I am disabled and it gave us the extra room for me in the night when I can't sleep without disturbing my husband. The only inconvenience was the long walk and changing lifts not for me but my husband. However the staff were very helpful and took our luggage to the room. Even with the distance to the room it was still worthwhile staying in the suite. It made it nice to be able to invite our family up to the rooms after our meal so we could have personal time together before we left for a long holiday. The suite was more than our expectations Staff couldn't have been more polite, helpful and courteous. This hotel having a pool was an extra bonus as it's hard to find a hotel in this area with a swimming pool as lovely as the one here. Having access to the executive lounge was also a bonus enabling us to booking on line and print our tickets off and answering any emails that we needed to deal with. Also it was a comfortable lounge and service with drinks and canapés was excellent the staff meet all our needs.

Good pre holiday Hotel

Nice hotel, friendly staff and a good food served in the restaurant.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for the night before flying off from Gatwick, we did not arrive until 9pm. The hotel staff were really friendly and we managed to eat in the restaurant after a long journey which was a benefit.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

adequate room space

On the whole a nice relaxing weekend. My wife and I were impressed with the over-all care and service we received during our short stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It was so nice meeting and sharing ideas and thoughts with staff from various parts of Europe.

Room and Restaurant

The beds were the best we had ever slept in at any hotel...The bed for our son was to basic for our liking. Watch the staff in the restaurant. We ordered 4 deserts, but after we had paid...we were told that only 2 were available..We decided to just have the 2, and have the others refunded. After being assured that the other 2 were refunded, we were disgusted to find out on checkout, that they hadn't been. This was unacceptable. At least the receptionist helped us and refunded us.
