Great Staff

Our stay was good. The staff was very attentive to our needs/wants. We stayed on the 18th floor. When we got off the elevator, there was musky/moldy smell. When we got to our room, the smell was gone. but the window leaked and the floor was wet buy the window area. The window had moisture on the inside. The hotel is dated. BUT we still had a very good visit. I would stay here again.

Used Rewards for stay

This was a rewards stay for me. That being said, it was acceptable, but I wouldn't pay to stay here. The lobby is nice, however there isn't a gift shop/store, which would be very convenient considering the property is located downtown. As for the room, a lot of furniture packed into a small space and the bathroom is hideous. The shower wall was "patched" up, it is obviously very old and in need of updating and repair. I'm glad this was only one night and that I used my rewards to book this hotel.

On 2 separate occasions and times of the year I have arrived at this hotel after a long day of travel and work only to find they have given my room away because it is their "policy to overbook." It wouldn't be so bad if I could get a room at another hotel close by but all hotels were sold out and I had to take a van 1-1/2 hours (with traffic) away to get a room and then the same trip back to work.
