On 2 separate occasions and times of the year I have arrived at this hotel after a long day of travel and work only to find they have given my room away because it is their "policy to overbook." It wouldn't be so bad if I could get a room at another hotel close by but all hotels were sold out and I had to take a van 1-1/2 hours (with traffic) away to get a room and then the same trip back to work.

If you are the person we recall, we took care of your hotel stay and transportation to and from the hotel 20 miles away. We also attempted to make amends by upgrading your room upon returning to our property for the second and third night, issued you bonus IHG Rewards Points, gave you complimentary meals, and a complimentary room night in your suite. We were very very sorry that this occurred with you for the second time in 6 months, and we still can't apologize enough. The hotel needs updating. The lobby and exterior are a bit run down. The staff was great and the guest room was clean and adequate.

Bathroom needs attention

Nice clean room but the bathroom was awful. I meant to take pictures but there was black mold around the tub.
