To sum it up, I prefer HIE, they don’t try and be “upscale”
and in turn do not fail at it.
The $27 steak I ordered medium well, came to me raw, waiter insisted
I ordered it that way, even though 5 guests I was with heard me order otherwise.
When waiter insists my order is correct, not what I expect at “upscale” hotel
then the cut of meat was horrible.
I got a suite, expecting a fridge in room, only to be told “they are out of fridges”
Room was stuffy, so I tried to turn on AC, turns out maintenance needs to pull wall panel
and manual change, I was told that was process, since no one showed up to perform this.
You set a certain expectation, and from my experience don’t meet it. HIE sets an expectation and meets it. I realize you are same chain, but unless business requires, I will not stay in Crowne again

This Crowne Plaza was very clean and quiet. The breakfast food was great, but could have been prepared a little hotter. The appearance of the hotel overall was good. There were a couple of the ceiling tiles appeared to have water damage on the 21st floor. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. I would recommend a stay here this particular Crowne Plaza.

I am at this hotel on a monthly basis and I use my computer a lot for work. The internet is very, very slow which makes it difficult to get any work done. The Staff, however, is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!
