Clean large size rooms.

Close to danbury events. Clean rooms and very quiet with nice views from top floors. Extra costs for each additional person, breakfast, and room location adds up quickly and becomes a little expensive. Huge lobby makes hotel feel bare and empty.

Where's the bed?

During a recent stay I arrived in the evening an found that the hotel over sold the rooms and only had a "loft" available. Generally a loft is nice and I figured it was just an odd configuration or a smaller bed but when I got to the room my first thought was, where's the bed?

The answer, there isn't one. The room only had a pull out couch with a thin mattress. I couldn't believe they would put anyone in a room like that.

The staff was kind and tried to make up for it but honestly I just wanted a bed to sleep in. I didn't think that was too much to ask in a hotel.

Dismal Experience

Room initially assigned for quiet area request was located at elevators. Brought this to Front Desk Mgr. and he offered a different room; I accepted. No recognition for Platinum status. Upon checking out, learned that an executive upgrade had been given; did not strike me as "executive" level. Small bathroom with nothing impressive about the room. Elevators were "clunky" sounding and no floor numbers acknowledged from within. Parking area littered with pizza box, beverage containers and pot holes. I've had much better accommodations @ HI Express and HI with pleasant staff.
