The Crowne Plaza located in Dayton's downtown district was adequate and convenient. The staff were friendly and made every attempt to meet expectations for me and my children. The hotel rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The 2nd floor which led to the parking garage corridor was not clean and smelled like smoke. That was the only issue I had with this property.

Not impressed , was not able to gain access to the restaurant cause the person required to turn on elevator to access that floor was taking a guest to the airport ???

Our group of 12 were treated professionally and friendly. Our courtesy shuttle was very prompt and convenient. wonderful location with good food and fun lounge.

The room was spacious and comfortable.
Nice that the parking fees were covered by the hotel. However, the parking garage was a little distance away. At checkout it was an inconvenience to haul the luggage to the car.

Stayed other places for less and had a better room.
Needs to update the carpet and check the plumbing.

The hotel is very nice but the staff and system of charging in incidentals leaves much to be desires. I'm the president of our State Convention that stayed there and accounts had funds held and caused others accounts to be overdrawn. I myself had 4 holds on my funds that I did not authorize and there were at least 15 to 20 others who experienced the same. We as a convention have stayed in hotels for years and never experienced anything like this before and it puts a black eye on your hotel brand. Service was horrible and show and resolutions took forever and then found the same issues that we were told was resolved starting up all over again. We will never visit this facility again and pray no one else ever goes through the issues we just experienced.
