Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never again The hotel is very nice but the staff and system of charging in incidentals leaves much to be desires. I'm the president of our State Convention that stayed there and accounts had funds held and caused others accounts to be overdrawn. I myself had 4 holds on my funds that I did not authorize and there were at least 15 to 20 others who experienced the same. We as a convention have stayed in hotels for years and never experienced anything like this before and it puts a black eye on your hotel brand. Service was horrible and show and resolutions took forever and then found the same issues that we were told was resolved starting up all over again. We will never visit this facility again and pray no one else ever goes through the issues we just experienced. August 10, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Room clealinest and waterpressure my room was dirty in the bathroom toilet had brown residue on seat they changed my room and the other one was the same way .housekeeping said it was the rusted screws that were in the toilet that was causing the brown matter on seat. the carpet in the room was terrible didn't look clean had light and dark spots . they only gave us a one day free valet parking I wanted to go somewhere else but they did use my debit card to secure the room. the bed was fine. the water didn't come out fast it was so slow and little I had to only use the water from the tub the pressure was very bad. the personal was very nice . I talked to manager and ask if he could at least give discount if not refund me or give some type of compensation he said he would have to go to management I thought he was ,will not stay there again . I was there for webb-thomas family reuion. thank god your personal was nice August 7, 2014

The only disappointment I've had is the fitness center. The fitness center has two treadmillls that have been out of service for about two months. Other than the inconvenience of finding other arrangements for my fitness needs, I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Dayton. August 3, 2014

It would be nice if they could add USB plugs to charge phones with as I forgot my 120V adapter. Otherwise it was a nice stay. The restaurant on the top floor was excellent. Could have used a small loveseat rather than chair and ottoman. Having a continental breakfast, rather than having to use the restaurant would have been a better deal, especially since several chains are going more that way to be a more family friendly hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room ammenities While the room was fine upon arrival, it was discovered that the A/C unit was not consistent. It would get warm and then cool off instead of maintaining a constant temp. Also, there was a large A/C unit outside of my window on the roof that sounded like a train going by all night long. Thank goodness for ear plugs. The cleaning staff never showed up to make the beds and restock the towels. Asked the night desk man about it and he said he would send some up right away. They never showed. Had to ask the morning desk lady for towels. Also there were charges on my bill that were not mine. All this stuff had to be addressed by myself instead already being taken of by the proper staff. When you spend as much per night as I did, you would expect not to have problems like these. Especially a Crown Plaza property If someone were to ask if I would recommend staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Dayton Oh. I would tell them to search else where. The experience I had here is one that you would expect at a cheaper line of Hotel July 11, 2014
