wonderful experience

I was attending a conference for the Insurance Professionals. My room was so clean and neat, my bed was absolutely dreamy, wish I could have brought it home. Everyone from the desk, valet, concierge, cleaning staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. My friend fell on the sidewalk and had to be taken to the ER. The desk mgr had one of the shuttle vans drive me to the ER to be with her and even came back and got us when she was released from the hospital. Wonderful people and I actually felt they cared about our concerns and kept a check on us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone in the area. *Still wish I could have brought that dreamy bed home. Comfort A+

Good Place to Stay Downtown Dayton

Hotel is conveniently located across Dayton convention center. Plenty of parking space. Front desk will validate your parking ticket. When I first arrive I have no idea where hotel parking is. The staff have to take me outside and point it to me. There needs to be better signage.

Room is nicely updated but you can still kind of feel the age of the property. Bathroom is small by modern hotel standard. Fitness facility is small for a hotel this size. I was under the impression there's a pool but I didn't find any sign of it. Did not really look that hard though.

Breakfast was not included in my rate, and it's not cheap. $12 for the buffet and coffee is $2.5 on top of it. Selection is poor and items did not change in the entire week I stayed there. The restaurant is on the top of hotel and has great view though.

Internet is reasonably good until after 9:00 PM when it slow down significantly.

Overall a good place to stay if you have business in Dayton. Value is not very good though.

Missed the Reunion Bus

My husband and I missed a scheduled reunion bus to the National Air Force Museum. My husband asked the desk if there was any transportation to the National Museum. Christine was happy to drive us and a another couple....I thought that not only was she a great driver, but was so impressed by the customer service beyond what one would expect.
I loved all the electrical outlets in the room. Now a days with all the electrical gadgets one travels with, finding enough convenient outlets is so nice.

Poor faucet for shower

The shower faucet in Room 828 needs attention. I had to use 2 hands to "pry" it open....once I figured out it was a straight out motion and not a lift up motion like most faucets I have seen of this configuration. This one item was the only "sore point" of my stay, but it was enough to discourage me from returning to this hotel.
