Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Suite Surprise The Crowne Plaza located just off the 16th St Mall in downtown Denver was a great find! Very quiet yet so very close to the downtown action. Just a short stroll from the Brown Palace where we had a function. We live in Aurora, but chose to spend the night in town. The staff was so friendly & the suite was updated with granite countertops in the bath(s)!! Close the French doors from one room to the next & nothing could be heard! The beds were quite nice as well. May 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't expect the charm of a sophisticated boutique property, but the hotel does the job Suite on high floor is around 55 sqm Room with seating area, coffee machine, toilets Bedroom with desk, armchair, comfortable bed Large separate dressing Small bathroom with fridge like light and tiny bathtub. TempleSpa amenities (I like them). Panoramic view over the city and the Rocky Mountains Renovated corporate design with lack of charm, but everything perfectly clean Very quiet 2 large flat television sets with large cable channels selection (but no international channels). No iPhone dock (but mp3 alarm clock) No minibar (but a convenient empty fridge) Free fast wifi for Platinums (need to enter password only once) Good - Very central location (10 minutes walk to Denver Art Museum, Golden Triangle with hip restaurants and cafés). - Very friendly staff - Fast wifi - Rent a bike station next to the hotel (perfect for visiting the city). Bad - Nothing, except perhaps the interior design which definitely could have been more inventive May 20, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive prices for a so so hotel I stayed at this hotel because I attended a conference at a nearby convention center. The hotel looks very old. The furniture in myroom was very worn looking. My room view was of the parking garage structure about 20 feet away. I felt like I didn't have much privacy. When I got in the shower on the first morning there was a small blood stain on the inside of the shower curtain. I reported it to the front desk after almost vomiting and it was taken care of but no offers were made to compensate me. When I turned the air on in my room the heat came on an I thought something was on fire until I realized what it was. The room service selection is lacking. When I was there for some reason the restaraunt was closed leaving only the bar open which didn't leave many dining choices open. The location of the hotel was great but that's about it. May 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location! We enjoyed our recent stay at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Denver. We were there to attend a Rockies' baseball game and found the location to be very accessible to the 16th street mall for the bus and also to the Pavilion shopping center. Rooms have been updated since our last stay there many years ago, but we will not stay away that long now! May 17, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 very small room I was in Denver for large work meeting and required to share room. Double room was very small for two people. Bathroom very small also allowing only one person at a time to get ready. With proximity to convention center I expected it to be a much nicer quality. May 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Everything ! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had no issues while staying there!!! Right downtown just a short walk to middle of it all downtown. Was able to take free ride to stadium for ball game. Was a great weekend and can't wait to do it again! Thank you! May 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Loved the complementary aromatherapy Room wasn't as nice as I had expected for the Crown Plaza name, but it was very attractively furnished. Bed was hard. I loved the complimentary aromatherapy lotions & spray. May 6, 2013
