Outstanding Experience

Was a little hesitant to book through this hotel after the experience we had for the same weekend last year. Every year we come to Detroit for the auto show and of course a Red Wings game. Last year our experience was not good at all. However this year was a complete 180, great staff, great experience, I cannot wait to do this again next year. Way to go Crowne Plaza!

Best Hotel Experience!

I travel near and far for business and have stayed in a number of hotels and this was by far my best experience ever. I drove 10 hours to attend the auto show and there was also a game going on, so the hotel was all booked. Even with the high volume and heavy foot traffic, the valet staff, got me in a out in under 10 min. Check-in was a breeze and my room upgrade was amazing (GOLD lever member). Every member of the staff were friendly and very helpful. After walking back from the show, I ate at the bar in the lobby (food wasn't the best but it was convenient) and headed up to my room. The next morning I enjoyed an amazing breakfast buffet before departing. Dawn checked me out and she was very helpful and by far the most friendly employee! My car was waiting on me by the time I got to ground level and the valet staff helped me load my things and I was on my way. Keep up the good work!

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay. We attended the first day of the North American International Auto Show. The hotel was very busy.
One detail that was a real problem was service in the restaurant in the morning. It was not the fault of the servers because they were very busy with the many guests.
I had to wait 10 minutes and ask repeatedly for a second cup of coffee. Also, the silverware did not include a teaspoon. Again I had to ask repeatedly for a teaspoon.
I would suggest that a teaspoon be included in the silverware on the table and that a coffee dispenser be available in the restaurant on very busy mornings.
