Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience When we checked into our room someone that stayed before us must have spilled a whole bottle of cologne on the floor. I stayed with two kids and the smell was very strong. Two of us had headaches all night. We called the front desk after we came in the room and was excepting better hospitality. No rooms were available which was understandable but she said a manager would contact you and that also never happened. For someone that travels as much as i do I would expect first class hospitality. July 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Renovated room Was disappointed upon arrival to find out the hotel was in the middle of renovation. There was no rhyme or reason to how the renovation was being done. Most of our floor was done, but noticed a few still being done. Couldn't use the elevator close to our room, as the first floor below was closed for the renovation. I was a 'hike' to the main elevator. Front panel on our air conditioner kept popping open, wouldn't stay shut. Obviously the units weren't changed. The doors looked to be original--in fair to bad shape and just painted over. For the price we will look elsewhere when we return next year! July 16, 2014

Construction at the hotel disabled access to certain areas and made for very long walks to the only working elevator. July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renovations Under Way We have been staying here every July for many years (thru many owners) and are glad to see that renovations are being done. The new rooms are very nice and include a refrigerator but no microwave. The bathrooms are still pretty much one person at a time but don't really see any way they could be enlarged. Unfortunately we were awakened on Sun morning by hammering and drilling in the room next door but figure this due to the ongoing renovations. Overall this is a nice place to stay and we will continue to do so. July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice staff This was the 2nd time we have stayed here. We love the Temple Spa samples. The shuttle service made our vacation more relaxing! The breakfast buffet has a lot of options & tastes great! The staff in the restaurant were helpful, nice, personable, & got our day off to a great start. The hotel is currently doing renovations . The only problem we had was the phone in our room did not work. We were offered a new room but we were already settled in our room & made the choice not to switch. July 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Return Stay: Always Great The Crowne Plaza in Dublin is what a full service hotel should be. We had excellent service from first making our reservations ( once again ) with Jennifer at the front desk to the help we received from Iesha, also at the front desk, when my wife became ill. Iesha was truly sympathetic and caring. The overall property is great from a beautifully kept exterior, to a overly spacious and comfortable lobby, to very comfortable guest rooms with newly added refrigerators, a definite plus in warm weather. The staff is courteous and friendly; there's a great indoor pool and an excellent restaurant. We will return again. As a matter of fact, book early; we have found the hotel full on a couple of occasions. Only negatives: a single slow elevator and quite a walk to some rooms as the hotel is set up in kind of an octagon shape. Nonetheless, excellent overall! July 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely Over-delivered! A family celebration required us to find accommodations in the Dublin, Ohio area. Since it was only for one night, I let price be my guideline and didn't expect much. What a pleasant surprise! The entryway was clean and open. The lobby was spacious and attractive. And our room was lovely! The soft grey walls and contemporary artwork were similar to much more expensive properties. And the bed! Unbelievably comfortable. We will definitely stay here when we come for future family events. July 8, 2014

The meeting rooms were ample and easy to access. The restaurant was very clean and had a great selection of items. The restaurants staff were very attentive and, friendly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good business hotel I have primarily used the Crowne as my hotel of choice for business travel because they provide quality rooms in quiet zones (a good night's sleep is not optional for business travel) and typically meet all my basic needs (e.g. in-house dining, a weight room, Internet access, and an outside patio for relaxing when weather permits.) When I travel for business, I am not interested in "seeing the town" or running around looking for a restaurant. By meeting my basic personal needs on their premises, I can concentrate on meeting my employer's needs and give them my best performance for their traveling dollar. June 29, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 WORST HOTEL EVER The place looks very nice. The rooms are nice but the staff was awful and the experience was awful!! They don't offer discount tickets like they said and the whole 2nd floor is under construction but didn't tell us. The air conditioner leaked and we had a wet floor after they came to fix it!! They do not have sofa sleepers like the internet says!! So your extra is a cot that was uncomfortable. DO NOT STAY HERE! They gave me a $10 discount for our troubles!! AWFUL PLACE June 27, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room The bed and pillows were very comfortable, my wife and I had a great nights sleep in the king size bed. Even with a big bed in the room, there was still plenty of space to move around and not feel crammed. The bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels from the start, and house keeping was very helpful in giving us extra towels and coffee the next day. The only problem we had was our toilet seat was loose and wiggled around every time we sat on it. We also received one towel from house keeping the second day we were there that seemed clean but was stained. We did not use that towel but they had given us so many extras that it wasn't a big deal to us. Overall was a positive experience. Would recommend this hotel based on staff service alone. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend stay We did Not have a nice stay. We waited 2 hrs for extra blankets and when you have three kids your trying to put to bed that's not good...we checked in with a large group for a pageant but when it was our turn to check in all the rooms booked for the pageant had been filled so they said we had to pay the regular price because the pageant only reserved x number of rooms...so we had to pay double the price. Then we ask if there was a mini refrige in the room ( because we have kids) they told us "oh sure that'll be an extra 10.00 a day" really after see how upset we were over the room price you couldn't give us a refrigerator or at least one at a discounted price??? Then we ask for a roll in bed at time of reservation on the phone then again at check in and we never received the roll away. Then sat evening we ask for more towels so we could bath towels they never came we had to go get them... This was the worst stay we have ever had. Not to mention there was not enough bell hops to put your luggage on May 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Construction !!!! Stay away I travel weekly for work and always stay at crowne plaza / holiday inn hotels. I used my rewards points for this visit and it ended up being the worst experience ever. The hotel was very outdated and they were in the process of remodeling. I arrived around 3 for check in and once I walked in my room it was so loud. It sounded like people were in my room banging on walls. I called the front desk they said they could move me but it wouldn't help and they would be done at 5pm. Well 8pm came and it was still awful. Also the pricing was higher than holiday inns which makes sense because crowne plaza are always nicer. However this hotel was much worse than any holiday inns in Columbus so basically i spent more money and got less quality. Don't stay here unless you call and say remodeling is totally complete. The website did not indicate any type of work at all so make sure to call or avoid this all together. May 10, 2014

She was kind and courteous and did her best to help us enjoy our visit to Columbus. This hotel was more expensive than the Holiday Inn express that double-booked our room, and Jennifer graciously comped our breakfast buffet to help with the additional cost. April 28, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It's Just Tired This hotel is very tired and it needs an update. I understand its getting one now, but for what we paid, it should have already been done. Otherwise, they should have offered a discount. Paint was falling off the ceiling in the bathroom, the rooms were dark and uninviting. The breakfast was quite drab. There were plenty of nicer hotels nearby. I'd give this place 6 months or so to finish its upgrading before considering going here. April 16, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing While I did not expect a 5 star hotel, did expect more from what tried to be a business hotel with its conference center. To start, both internet (have dealt with that before) but also phone were out. Had to use my cell phone to call for room service and when the food came was flavorless and lukewarm. Also no glass of ice for my soda and no signs to direct guests to the ice machine. When I had asked about wake up calls without a phone in the room, they indicated they would knock on the door (decided to pass on that). Morning room service was no better than dinner. Ordered the option that was supposed to contain mixed breads and pastries. Cold banana, zucchini bread, flavorless pastry, all of which seemed to come directly from the freezer. When I checked out, expected to be asked how everything was but I guess they had a suspicion and did not ask, I didn't tell them. Rooms and hallways needed a good cleaning and an update April 9, 2014
