Friendly and efficient staff

The hotel was quiet, clean and tidy and the staff helpful and efficient. The twin room itself was of a reasonable size with a sofa, but the bathroom rather small - although clean. The check in and out was a breeze and the staff friendly.

Nice Hotel

Was able to check in early which we wife and I liked , given an obviously recently refurbished large very clean and well equipped room with a very comfortable king size bed. Just on the outskirts its only a ten minute walking into Edinburgh. The staff at Crowne Plaza Royal Terrace looked after us very nicely, we would stay again.

Family stay

Great hotel, very good staff.
Only really let down by the breakfast and we found to beds to be uncomfortable.

No working Wifi

The guest rooms are not to the same standard as the lobby. I could not get the wifi to work, and despite reporting this twice to reception, nothing was done.
Food quality is very poor and service is not much better.
I cancelled breakfast on my second morning as the quality and service was so poor.
The gym was probably the best part of this hotel.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Over the next 2 weeks we will have fibre optic broadband installed and 6 extra routers throughout the hotel to alleviate any issues with the wifi recently as part of our ongoing improvements to the system. We understand that our guests need to stay connected and this is what we are working towards.
