Management and staff at this hotel are among the best in all the hotels that we frequent. We stay at this hotel anytime we are visiting family and friends in the New York City area. The rooms are clean,comfortable, excellent climate control, friendly staff that make us feel very much at home.

The service provided by Nisreen and Rossy was fabulous. We had a large group coming in for a family reunion and they were both very helpful coordinating nearby rooms and getting us the best rate possible. The room was a good size and bed was comfortable. A/C was a bit noisy and telephone service was out for a few days, but we just used our cell phones. Was a bit concerning though in case an emergency had arisen, which fortunately it did not. Great location, free parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. Normally priority members get a little goody bag or box to welcome them. I don't remember receiving anything at check in here. Great location for us, only mins. to the Armory Track. Great place to eat right across the street. We ate every meal there. Will visit again next year.

I enjoyed my stay. Everything was excellent and fantastic. The rooms were clean, quiet, room temperature perfect. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the lobby. The hotel in a safe upscale comfortable environment.

Once I got there most everything went well.
Getting there from EWR was a pain in the neck. A taxi from the airport cost like $65. But the return I asked the desk to call a cab. I got a very nice cab, but never had a set price. I get there and he wants $80 so I try to give hi a cc and now he wants $94. Whatever cab they plan to call use someone else. Unless you have your own car I would look for another place.

In spite of three personal requests to tone the party noise down and two calls to security, we were not able to get to sleep until almost 3:00 AM and we needed to leave early the next morning.

The hotel was conveniently located. For the most part, the room was clean, although badly in need of updating. Old, worn carpeting and wallpaper in rooms. Overflowing garbage receptacles by the entrance did not add to the appeal of this hotel.

We needed to borrow tape and scissors and the front desk was able to assist us. Also the front desk was able to give us directions to where we needed to be.

Nice hotel in good neighborhood convenient to transportation. Food at full buffet breakfast was very good. Restaurant fare was also good and well priced.

I blocked rooms a few months ago for my daughter's wedding at the Womens Club of Englewood. We were looking forward to a nice stay at a quality hotel. We were informed at breakfast on Sat am that it was not included. Had to have that issue taken care of. The pool was so crowded on Saturday that the guests were not able to swim......there were people there who were not guests of the hotel. On Saturday the majority of our guests arrived. Most of their rooms were not ready at 3:00. The wedding was at 4:30. One of our guests was given room keys to a room that was not cleaned yet.
We thought there would also be a refrigerator in the room.
All in all we were very disappointed with our stay. I have never complained about a hotel stay before.
The only pro to this visit was the location in Englewood...

Pool was dirty, I repeatedly asked the staff to clean it up and they said what do you expect? Kids are swimming in it! Pool stayed dirty so I could not use it. Food service was poor, it took 2 hours to get a mediocre sandwich. Staff was not helpful in general. Room was OK. Maid service was good.

We were not able to check in until after 3pm which was an inconvenience since we were going to a wedding at 4pm. When we were given a room the first one assigned to us was NOT cleaned yet. We then had to be given a new room. The pool was very crowded since apparently it was open to the community. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again and would not likely choose another Crowne Plaza in the future based on this stay. The help at the desk were not very apologetic about the delay in getting a room and were even argumentative about what actually happened when my husband complained the next day. I also thought the building inside and out looked run down. We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel especially since it was my sister's wedding we were attending. We should have chose the Hampton Inn nearby!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Service was quick and efficient. Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Pool was nice. The hot breakfast bar needs to be improved. The food did not look appetizing and the selection left alot to be desired. For a continental breakfast it is OUTSTANDING. They give you an assortment of pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereal. However, if you prefer something hot in the morning, I would suggest skipping the hotel breakfast.

We hosted a wedding a few miles away, did all of our planning by phone, so we had no idea what to expect, being from Chicago. But the sales staff that booked are group were courteous and helpful, and when we arrived, everyone who worked at this place jumped to help meet our needs. We liked the breakfast, too, and that they keep the pool open all night. We worried about bugs, of course, but none of our guests complained, and we had twelve rooms. They run a clean, efficient hotel.

During my stay, I could hear everything being said in all the rooms around me, including across the hall and above me. The plumbing sounded like somebody playing the bongo drums whenever anybody in a nearby room used the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows of all different thicknesses and support. The bathroom was old.
The restaurant closed for repairs the day after my arrival. Luckily, there is a diner across the street.
The smoking area is right next to the front door. If you want to avoid cigarette smoke, you can't.
The hotel is close to Manhattan, but the only way there is by using a bus. We drove since there were five of us and regretted it 100%. I'll pay the extra money and stay in Manhattan the next time.

This hotel was marginal at best. From the huge pothole in the driveway entering the hotel to the deskclerk ignorng me at checkout (He was scrolling through his phone.), I had many issues that should not have been if there was proper management. I could list 5 to 10 items that should be addressed. This is far too many for a well managed hotel.

Excellent location for visiting New York without the cost of New York hotels. The staff was helpful, courteous, and professional. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

I've stayed here numerous times and it is consistantly heads and shoulders above the rest. The staff is friendly,efficient and always looking to please. The location can't be beat with a short commute to NYC. The management team keeps their eye on the ball and have never disappointed me. Customer Service is excellant.

We arrived in the evening, rather tired. The front desk personnel were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. We got a really good night's sleep and was ready to go the next morning. I would recommend this property and will return when we're back in the area.

We arrived a little early, about 2.5 hours before check-in. They had no problem putting us in a room. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was fairly comfy. But, because it was a king-size bed it had that "hump" in the middle. My only other complaint is that our King Executive room had no microwave or fridge. The hotel has a restaurant #and room service# & full bar. There's a nice diner in walking distance just across the street #with delicious food#. You'll have to drive for more choices. It's worth mentioning that it literally only took us 10 minutes to get into NYC taking the George Washington Bridge.

Room was clean. Pool was warm and clean but hte only issue I had was that the hotel is allowing a company to come in and give swimming lessons for over 2 or 3 hours on Saturday. Wish I was warned or told as that was the only reason I go to the Hotel as I live in town ...so my kids could have fun in the indoor pool over the winter. There was classes at 9: 30 to 11: 30 when we left and more to go. Pool was filled and no room for guest. there was approx. 20 adults and kids in pool at every lesson if not more.

Very nice place for the money. I just wish there were more electrical outlets in the room. It's the 21st century--we need to recharge all out gadgets!
It'd also be nice to have a refrigerator in the room...

I find this hotel and location to be convenient to NYC and close to malls and restaurants. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have never had any problems with getting a room. The front desk staff is very friendly and courteous. I would book here again.

I've stayed at this Crowne Plaza seven times in 2013. Primarily it's a place to stay while working in NYC. Usually it's quiet and allows me to finish work and relax. Unfortunately, during my most recent stay on the 5th floor, there were 3 rooms around me (across the hall and to each side) where people were up until 3:00am drinking, fighting and generally being loud in their rooms & the hallway while using vulgar language. I am taking a break and staying elsewhere this time. However, I will return to the Crowne Plaza Englewood if guaranteed a room on one of the quiet floors.

I was at this property for three nights for a business trip and it is in a convenient location and the room was nice and clean. The problem that I had was with the service. My shampoo, conditioner and lotions were not replaced when my room was cleaned, which I did not realize until I was about to use them (very inconvenient). Also, I called the front desk on the evening of March 20th to schedule a 6:00am wake up call for the next morning and I never received the wake up call. I had a plane to catch at LGA Thursday morning. I came very close to missing my plane and had to leave the hotel without getting ready for the day because of this oversight. I have never had a hotel let me down on a wake up call. Very disappointing.

The staff and accommodations were great. Mu husband was at Columbia Presbyterian and the comfort of the room and the convenience of the shuttle made a stressful time less stressful. Bed very comfortable - room clean. Found the shuttle a great service that was made available.
