They were very accommodating witht a late check-out request. The place is so well located next door to a movie theater and Bell Tower shops and restaurants. It is convenient to the highway and close to a number of restaurants and shops. the inside appears clean, however there is a musty odor and the hotel has a damp feeling. I would stay again, but hope they do something to improve the odor and damp feeling. September 2, 2013

The staff was always willing and available to help and easy to find. They constantly checked on us to make sure we had what we needed to conduct our business. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a get together for business or pleasure. And if you happen to spending some time in Fort Myers, make this your destination hotel. Was pleasantly surprised at the excellence of all facets. As a bonus for my Priority Club membership, I was upgraded to the exclusive 5th floor where a buffet breakfast is available practically outside your door. Could find no flaws and the rate was comparable to other Intercontinental hotels and motels. August 20, 2013

The room has been very nicely redone with thoughtful amenities. The only negative was the wall air conditioning unit was quite noisy - not enough to keep us awake but enough to be annoying. Having the ball clubs there was wonderful too. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, well spoken, remembered our names and handicapped needs. The place was clean! August 4, 2013

Having a microwave and refrigerator in our room was a great convenience during our week's stay. Service was exceptional! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff, great location! My family and I were in Fort Myers for a baseball tournament. I thought for sure it would be very noisy at night but it was quite the opposite. I thought it was a brilliant idea to have a curfew for all the boys, so I think that helped. The only reason I gave it 4 Stars was because we had no hot water the first and third night of our stay..........quite inconvenient since we had been at baseball games all day (we were very sweaty!). Also, we were only given 3 bath towels every day. I had to call every night and ask for more towels since there were 4 of us in the room. Also, only 2 washers and dryers for the WHOLE hotel.......Just a little inconvenient. But other than that, it was a great hotel. Pool was nice. Location was awesome! It was conveniently located in a shopping plaza......great restaurants and shopping! July 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average The wet weather put a damper on our visit, so we ended up spending more time in the hotel than we anticipated. That was unfortunate because the rooms and beds were small. We expected queen size beds in a full service hotel double room. I tried to use the extra time in the hotel to get extra work finished, but the wi-fi signal was erratic and constantly lost connection. I even moved down the hall near the elevator and also down to the lobby, but the signal seem consistently inconsistent throughout the hotel. Also the TV lost its digital signal on at least 3 different days during our 5-day stay. July 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comforting I arrived on 06/15/13 at approximately 1330 hours. I asked if I was able to check in early. Without hesitation, I was greeted and allowed to check in. The front desk staff immediately gave me an explanation on the property and told me where everything was at the hotel. They also went above and beyond to answer my questions I had, made sure I understood everything, and tried there best to make me feel welcomed. We went up to our room, which was cozy and also had a "spa" type relaxation/fragrance welcoming kit on the bed. Our room came with a fridge, over looked the pool area, and had a decent size bathroom, desk, and couch. I did require more towels, and the front desk immediately sent them to me. Overall we were impressed with the room. Housekeeping was prompt each day. They also made sure that the bathroom was restocked with new soap. It was nice to be able to come back each afternoon and see that our room was cleaned to that standard each and every time.. One of the best highlights was Shoeless Joes. Although it is a sports bar attached to the hotel, the food and drink prices were great. Several times we found ourselves going in there to eat and unwind. Food was really good, which was surprising to have that good of food within a hotel, especially for how reasonable the food prices were. We did eat at the hot breakfastnext to Shoeless Joes. I can say that was one thing I was not overly impressed with. Although the food was on top of burners, the eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy were all cold. I figured with those items being on top of the burners it would be warm, but it was not. The milk was at room temperature and was not cold. Obviously this made for nasty cereal when you ate it. Overall I was not impressed with the breakfast that was offered, due to how it was not warm at all. The pool was nice and did have a nice layout. Ice is kept outside by towel rack for your "beverages" that may require ice. Pool had a nice vibe and it made it nicer, Shoeless Joes was directly inside for "beverages" that you may need to have with you at the pool. We did go up to the concierge lounge. Although I was not there when all events and things were taking place, I was able to enjoy the beverage station. Staff was overly nice in accommodations. Due to my activity for the day on 06/17/13, I requested a later check out of 1300 hours. Without any form of hesitation the front desk clerk gave me the additional hour that was requested. Overall I was overwhelmingly pleased with the hotel, property, accommodations, and staff. When I come back, I will definitely be back at this property. The staff was some of the friendliest hotel staff I have been in contact with. That says a lot, since I travel all over as a Marriott Platinum Elite member. This hotel was better experience then most Marriott's I stayed in, and I do not even have Elite status with IHG yet. Only thing I would not entirely recommend is the breakfast. June 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and wonderful ammenities! The bed was so comfortable. They provided TempleSpa products such as a small sample size spray of TempleSpa's "quietude" spray. Also lotions in packets. Those products were so great that when we returned home I went on the internet and ordered full size bottles of their quietude, shampoo and conditioner. Such luxurious products! Also, as a priority club member the hotel provides a lounge on the top floor with complimentary snacks in the evening , along with a buy one get one happy hour. In the morning they have fresh fruits and muffins, juice, milk, etc. It was an over all exceptional stay from the staff to the room. Everything was great. I would stay again without hesitation! At one point we needed help from Housekeeping and at another from Maintenance. Both times the response was immediate and included a big smile. Easy and quick check in, no hassles, room I wanted, good breakfast, and great customer service WHICH REALLY COUNTS. I like to have things in order, quick, no hassle check in, no room issues, and that's exactly what the Crowne delivered. I was with a very special friend and time was critical and needed a quick check in good room, so we could freshen up and meet a dinner engagement, which worked. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good I have stayed at many hotels across the US. The staff at this hotel was good. But I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. We had to put towels on the carpet because it was really sticky. It really needed to be shampooed. We had no sheets in the closet for the sofa bed. I had to go to the front desk and ask for them. The tub was dripping water (not a big concern to me) but a waste of water for the hotel. After housekeeping came in the bathroom floor was sticky (it wasn't that way before she Cleaned). The carpet was not cleaned. I have stayed a 2 star hotels which were definitely much nicer & cleaner, and more for your money. The restaurant in the hotel was nice and the food was really good.
