As per usual, the staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were lovely, big beds and warm. No complaints from check in to check out!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times but this was the first time in an upgraded room. Everything was exceptional, from the lounge staff to the food and drink served. For what it cost you would struggle to get a 3* hotel in any other major city and is tremendous value. See you next time I'm in Glasgow.

Opted for the top floors for a weekend theatre trip. Stayed here before and knew what to expect. All up to the standard I anticipated.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tanya21 Comfortable room and great service
Treated myself to weekend of pampering, staff at check-in helpful, room comfortable, food good. Bar staff particulary good and attentive to customers needs as were the restaurant staff. I couldn't take type of soup on offer and staff member came back and offered alternative, good initiative demonstrated by the young man.
went to Isis Spa and their staff were excellent , pamper treatments then up to comfort room to relax and unwind.......
What more could you ask for.
Well done to all...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Macca205 Lovely Hotel
This is a lovely hotel with high quality rooms, however when I checked in the front desk was busy and the girl was very unhelpful and didn't offer me any of my rewards of being a platinum priority club member, when I asked about a possible room upgrade she didn't even check the system just said no.
Have stayed here a few times and this is an isolated incident but your staff should treat platinum members better or why bother with the scheme!!
Overall a lovely hotel in a good location for Glasgow city centre.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SBRFTD83 Poor value for money
Having stayed at this hotel previously on business, I decided to return for a leisure break with my wife and decided to upgrade and booked what was described as a 'deluxe room' offering exclusive access to the club lounge. Upon arrival, I found that the room was exactly the same as the standard room I had previously, and the club lounge was certainly nothing like what the description would have you believe.
In all, the increased amount which I paid for this room certainly did not merit the actual room received and I was left feeling very disappointed, and shortchanged.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AllieRed Another great stay at the CP Glasgow
Stayed for two nights last weekend in a Club Room. Very comfortably sleep. Eat in the lounge bar one night and had breakfasts both mornings in the restaurant. Both excellent. Recognised as a Priority Club Member and received a gift of tablet - which my husband enjoyed!! Have another stay coming up shortly. Would recommend.
If you have an ordinary room my only complaint is with those rooms there is no room safes which I feel is essential.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rach24 NOT FIVE STARS
This hotel looks great down stairs, resturants and bar are great. However the room did not look as if it had been hooverd and even my boyfriend noticed that so coming from a guy it must be bad!! The room was ok standard. There was a light not working which i found annoying as basic things like that should be checked always! general ware and tear off table tops etc which i may expect in a 3* hotel but not a 5*. We used the complimenatry service if you forget something like toothpaste this is the first time i have used this service and will be the last as they did not have what i was looking for yes it was my fault i forgot it but if you offer a service like that i expect to be able to get what i am looking for instead of having to fork out more than i would normally as i had to use the hotels shop whick is 3 times the normal price!! Overall i was disappointed i wouldnt stay in the hotel again but i would use the bar and resturant again as there was no faults but they tend to make your first impression of the hotel good as it is very nice but not the rooms etc!! And paying £5 for parking when you are staying in the hotel i feel its a step to far also !!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carly45 First time but not the last
This was my first time at the Crown Plaza but it certainly won't be the last. We had a lovely room with a view of the Clyde. The bed & the pillows were so comfortable & i liked the little aromatherapy sleep aid, it certainly works. The bar is a good size with a good selection of beers & a good menu for food.. The staff in all areas were polite & attentive. The best bit was not having to go out in the rain to get to the venue next door. Breakfast in the morning was really good & there is a very good selection from Continental to full cooked, I thoroughly enjoyed the cooked. Next time I stay I hope it's for more than one night. x

Only stayed one night, but from going into the hotel mid-sfternoon to leaving next day you were made to feel welcome, the staff were polite and friendly. The meal we had was excellent and good value. The room was clean and the bed was very very comfortable, one of the best nights sleep for ages. Very good choices for breakfast, either full English or continental. Will stay again at this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bets01 Pleasurable stay at the Crowne Plaza
Comfortable beds, very important, we stayed in 2 other hotels before and it was like sleeping on the floor! Next time we have to stay in Glasgow again I would not hesitate to stay at the Crowne Plaza again. A bit more to pay per night, but you can't put a price on a good night's sleep.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LG08 Friendly Service
Comfortable twin room, plenty space. Facilities were good.
Good choice for breakfast. Had room service as more available choices than restaurant, lovely.
Only downside was that was some loud noises early morning because of pipes or something when adjacent rooms must have been showering, a bit noisy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Merlin2 enjoyable experience and good value
The prepaid rate was very good value. The room and bed were excellent. Breakfast was average - hot buffet rarely works. Overcharged for glass of wine (large for small) though barman invited me to go back later and he would adjust with next order.
Would stay again at that rate.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Betzer Pleasant comfortable room but very warm
Stayed here for one night on the Club floor. Great room, very comfortable, with the added extra of the club lounge with drinks and snacks. My only moan would be the air conditioning in the room. Too warm when we went into the room and during the night the room was very warm. Could not use the air con. during the night as it would have been too noisy. But a good stay overall with a sound evening meal from the buffet and a tasty and filling breakfast.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hoopy67 Executive excellence
After booking an executive double room online, I was pleasantly surprised when checking in I was advised that we had access to the executive lounge which turned out to be a mere two doors along the corridor to my room. The lounge was tastfully decorated, with a fine selections of refreshments and snacks available.
We took advantage of room service as we had an early show booked in town. The selection from the menu was fantastic, food arrived when we asked for it, pipping hot and was exceptional quality.
We would have no hesitation in booking the Crowne Plaza in the future.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SkinnymaLinky spacious and welcoming
My sister and I stayed at the Hotel for sadly only one night as we were attending an event. Our room was spacious, comfortable, light and airy. The Dining area gave the impression of private and quiet even though it is just next to the bar, very comfortable seating and super food.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by johnb59 Kevin Bridges weekend
Booked an overnight stay as visiting glasgow for Kevin Bridges concert next door.
Firstly very impressed with the speed of checking in and the room was clean with what turned out a very comfortable bed
afternoon coffee was a bit of a wait as it appeared only 1 member of staff working in the bar which for a city centre hotel at 4pm on a Saturday appeared inadequate.
Had dinner in the hotel which by now was extremely busy but food was acceptable and the bowl of cold chips were immediately replaced when it was pointed out to our server.
I particularly liked the connecting walkway internal to the secc as the weather was cold outside.
had a very comfortable sleep in the King size bed and the morning breakfast buffet was excellent prior to leaving.
All in all an extremely pleasant excursion

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by greenscotland Wonderful hotle, superb location
This hotel is superb if you are going to a show at the SECC. You don't have to leave the building to reach the SECC as a handy passageway allows you direct access, and you queue less as I got straight to my seat whilst others were queued outside! Easy access back after the show also. The staff were delightful! Very helpful and even advised us to buy breakfast vouchers from reception to save money. I was very impressed! Loved the pool and fitness suite too. We forgot toothbrushes and these were brought to our room free of charge. We are waiting for an excuse to visit here again as my daughter and myself had such a delightful trip. We had an evening meal in the bar and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with a huge varirty of scrummy food. Book, you won't regret it!
