Nice stay for business trip

Staff was very friendly. The front desk, breakfast staff, bar staff and room staff were all very pleasant and professional. The breakfast buffet is good but offers the same spread each day with little variation. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There was no noticeable noise from adjacent rooms or hallway. Overall is a very nice hotel.

Great Rooms Horrible Customer Service

My husband booked a hotel room for us on Valentine's Day night and he wanted to check in earlier that day to 'prepare' the room with roses and candles and wine. The lady at the front desk told him no after he was already promised an early check in at the time of making the reservation. He asked her to double check to make sure that he could not check in earlier. She refused. After about five minutes of going back and forth with her she finally told him yes. Then when arriving at the hotel at 2pm that same afternoon, the lady at the front desk told him that he could not check in early. My husband then explained that he was just just on the phone with another lady not even 30 minutes ago that said he could. She refused for almost 10 minutes. Putting my Husband's Valentine's Day plans behind on schedule. Finally he was able to check into the room to set it up. At the time of check out I gave the lady my IHG member # to add points for my stay. She said she could not add them because it was not given at time of the reservation. My husband did not do so because it would ruin the surprise of the room. And I know that it can be done, being a hotel front desk representative myself. The room was wonderful, VERY clean. But the customer service throughout the whole stay was awful!!! I would only recommend this hotel to someone for the rooms being clean and very comfortable.

Thank you for your recent feedback on your check in experience at our hotel. We are very sorry that our associates mislead you as to when your guest room would be ready to check in . There were several options that could have been extended such as offering another room type or calling the housekeeping supervisors and asking them to expedite getting your room ready for you . Our published check in is 3pm . On many occasions we have rooms ready earlier than that , but on nights where we are sold out the night before your arrival ,and with a published 12 noon check out time , that gives our housekeeping staff 3 hours to clean 200 guest rooms. On these occasions we truly do not have the option of honoring early arrivals . I apologize that some one told you checking in early was not a problem. That totally depends on how full we are the night before you arrive and the only way to absolutely guarantee an early arrival is to take the room out of service the night before you arrive and not to sell it to anyone else . We are glad you were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our guest room. I Hope you will allow us another opportunity to be of service so we can show you are staff is capable of delivering excellent customer service . Thank you again for letting us know of this issue
