Don't Go Home Without

"The Sculpture of the 5-ramb" in Yuexiu Park is the symbol of Guangzhou.

Must See

The buildings and streets of the former British and French concession on Shamian Island have been beautifully renovated, creating an oasis of tranquility in an otherwise bustling and hectic metropolis. Attractions on the island are all free. Shamian was the only place in China that Europeans could establish settlements for several hundred years. The architecture reflects that era.

Must Do

You can try the Pearl River Night Cruise at Dashatou Pier, Tianzi Pier, and Xidi Pier. This is a one to two hour cruise in the evening and a great way to see the Guangzhou skyline along the Pearl River, including a light show at Bai-E-Tan. Tickets for the deluxe dinner cruise can be bought from the most high-end hotels. Higher end cruises usually include a dinner buffet.
