MI estadía en el Crowne Plaza Guatemala fue excelente. El hotel y su personal me ayudo a alcanzar el éxito en mi viaja a Guatemala. Cómo estuve alojado en la Quiet Zona, pude descansar y concertrarme en mi proposito. La úbicación del hotel es excelente, aunque el exterior del edificio del hotel necesita algo de mantenimiento para mantener un aspecto correcto. Las comodidades de la habitación fueron lo que yo esperaba.

This property is fine for the value and location. The rooms are not spotless and the wi-fi signal is weak and there is not a wired option, but for a short stay you cannot beat the price and location.

Since the moment I went to check in was a disaster.
I did my reservation prior to my check in, the guy at the counter was mean and he pretended my reservation number was not right, after telling him that was the right number and showing my phone with the number he finally "found it".
The reservation was for seven people and three rooms, and there was a price established, The person at the counter changed it all, said that he had the right to change prices whenever he felt like, and the total price was double of what the reservation was.
We were there in Guatemala city a not very safe country, in the middle of the night trying to figure this out, it is not like you walk away and find another hotel.
The guy at the counter said, well, you want the rooms or not? with such an attitude and we had to pay and had to stay in that hotel.
He said my credit card did not go through, which I find interesting, so I had to pay in cash, and they did not have change.
Had to wait until next Monday to have it back, even though I was supposed to get it back the day of our check out.
Very bad experience, I would never recommend this hotel.

Our over all stay was good with the exception that someone from house cleaning took a personal item from our room and no one has contacted me about iit. They said they were going to look into it but I have not heard a word from them. I/ we were very disappointed. The restaurant staff was excellent and the bell boys as well.

Our group of ten wanted to order off the menu which we were told we could do. When we tried to order off the menu the waiter continued to try to pursued our group to eat off the buffet. He began taking our orders but kept referring the buffet and lowering the price. He stopped taking orders and walked away, came back and gave us yet another price for the buffet. During the time when we were ordering we had three different waiters. After all the pressure from the wait staff we had seven people order off the buffet (which we really did not want). When it came time to pay our bills they were all wrong and we were all given different prices for the buffet. After many attempts to fix the issue we just ended up paying the bills. It was a very frustrating experience. We asked to talk with the hotel manager, but they never contacted us. This was the second time we have had troubles with the restaurant and the wait staff. As for the hotel, the rooms are comfortable and clean.

The hotel has an excellent location. The staff is always willing to help you. The bathroom in my room was tiny and I didn't like it. But in general it was a good experience.

There is nothing around this hotel except for a food. !!
Friendly restaurant staff !
The front desk is the worst ever! not helpful at all!! Tried to exchange currency 2x and both times they said only have 10.00.
They were not friendly nor did they ever smile.
Internet dont work well.
