Great hotel. It made my stay in India much nicer knowning that I had a good place to come back to after work each day. There is nothing worse than being abroad and not having a comfortable place to retire to for the evening. The spa, pool and gym areas were very accomodating and the dining experience was great.

like the sizes of rooms. This time was staying in presidential suite. consecutively 5 days. Was disappointed for not having and special or extra services to the suite.
Could be in room breakfast option at least. Fruit platter or wine of the day to make feel of presidential suite better.
Concierge is responding but could not meet my expectation what I have with trident oberois.

A modern well set-out hotel in the business district of New Delhi - convenient to the airport. The staff are very friendly to a weary traveller, and happy to help.
The rooms are well appointed, modern with an excellent internet connection which can vary in India. The lounge was a nice space to have a coffee or a pre-dinner drink. The buffet restaurant is also great value for money, and there is a good selection of Indian and international cuisine. The car service was excellent and the drivers were very knowledgable to get to some non-familar addresses.
Do not allow the staff to book you into a room ending xx19 - as this is adjacent to a service area which does not finish until midnight, and starts again at 5am. More likely than not it will disturb a nights sleep as the rooms have mixed marble/hardwood floors meaning that sounds will travel from this area in particular. My bathroom wasn't the cleanest either as the amenities had been used by a previous guest, as they had left me a gift in the form of a hair in the shampoo.

Perfect hotel in Gurgaon. Starbucks, Supermarket and McDonalds around the corner. Great in-room dining and great breakfast (but HAVE TO BE PUNCTUAL). Very friendly staff and amenities you expect from a 5 start hotel

Had a last minute meeting in Delhi and Crowne Plaza was the perfect place to stay. Everything worked great including the WiFi but the most memorable the staff who took impeccable care of me. Will stay here next time for sure.

Few weeks ago I spent a week in Gurgaon for a business trip.
I opted for the Crown Plaza Hotel mainly for its strategic location, close to the airport and close to my business area, and I just thought to receive a normal good treatment by a normal 4 stars hotel.
Instead, I have been pleased by a very special care provided by a super qualified staff, very passionate and well trained.
My room was very comfortable and fully equipped, and probably we can consider the Crown Plaza closer to 5 than 4 stars.
Up to here, nothing so unusual. Good rooms, cleaning, courtesy and rich breakfast buffet are quite common in this kind of business hotels.
So, where is the extra mile?
The extra mile is represented by the smiling faces of two employees of Crown Plaza who, among the others, really made my staying a special one, and my customer experience an outstanding one.
The first belongs to a very special cook (sorry for not remember his name); since the first day, he literally "adopted" me and my colleague for the entire week, cooking every night superb dishes on spot to please us in any possible way. He use to come out form his kitchen to present to us every single recipe and to listen to our feedbacks. Everything was cooked at the moment and perfectly tailored for our taste and wishes, that he use to remember the following day. Bravo!
But what really made my week, has been a fantastic lady from the front desk team, called Kuljinder. Besides her perfect professionalism, once she knew that I was looking for a special gift for my wife, look what she did :
she took the special indian silk I bought from a special place in downtown Dehli, and she dedicated her entire day off to go to a tailor to transform it into a perfect indian Sari fully finished. Following the measures I gave her, she asked the tailor to cut a perfect top for the sari, and once she realised that I forgot the skinny trousers that usually are dressed under the sari, Kiljinder took proactively a sample of the silk and she went to find it for me. She even paid it on my behalf to have everything done perfectly before my leaving. (!). Ultimately, she dedicated her entire day off for my wife's gift, just because of her passion to deliver a client of Crown Plaza a perfect customer experience. Great !
This is the extra mile I've got at Crown Plaza and this is the reason for me to warmly recommend it to whoever wants to visit Delhi for business or leisure.

Excellebt hotel, pleasant experiance, welcome relief after long international flight. Everything worked just perfect. Hotel staff treated us as though we are very special, went out of the way to make sure all our needs were taken care of. Highly recommnded. also close to the airport

After a very unfortunate stay last time where I witnessed a member of staff opening bags of milk with his teeth, I was invited back to stay by the GM ( with no concessions, none expected and none asked for ) which I did, however it was probably to soon. It just didn't feel right.
The only bright note was that the breakfast this time was excellent and the restaurant Manager in particular was very attentive.
The check in and check out was at best complacent, and did not at any time feel valued or welcome.
Stay was mediocre at best but I didn't complain this time, and I note that I have already received my priority club points for this stay. However I am still waiting for my loyalty points for my stay in December, I hope there is no connection !
Probably give Crowne Plaza Gurgaon a miss in the future.

We visited Crowne Plaza after a long long time reason being series of bad experiences. Last visit was before holi actually.
Suddenly when we started getting calls to review the membership as the membership was going to expire we realised all our coupons were unused.
We decided to go ahead with 'free night stay' coupon.
The staff was least bothered though i mailed them and called them regarding the stay also mentioning that the day was special for us and please dont spoil it like the earlier visits.
Well we ended up coming late to the hotel so missed the dinner.
In the morning headed for breakfast but just as we started we get the bill! On being asked that is it the hotels policy that they give bill before the meal, they were speechless.
We had requested for the cake to be ready by 10:30am a day before only but when we reached the bakery shop at 12:15 pm we were made to wait for half an hour...Nishant the coordinator was not available till 12:30pm...he had not reached!
Well we have understood that when people say that services have detiorated its actually true...we had first hand experience and that
too so many times. Well not taking a chance again...even for free.

Excellent hotel with very good service, very comfortable bed and comforter, and the room was spotlessly clean. Food at the Club lounge was good but not excellent. Room coffee was poor, and toiletry supply was a bit skimpy. No fruit basket nor gift offered, but I was given a jar each of cashew nuts and cornflake at the door. Excellent breakfast at Cafe G with a wide variety of items. Excellent wifi facility which was free for IHG Ambassadors.

1st visit they gave me a room that was already taken when I got to it!!
2nd stay the Sales Manager promised to write me for corporate rates, now after 1 month still nothing!
3rd stay I forgot my new shoes in the room, called the hotel but,- ohh sorry sir no shoes left in the room.....
Conclusion I'm never using Crowne Plaza in Gurgaon again and I'm even a platinum member of the group.

This was my second stay at Crowne Plaza Gurgaon and it didn't disappoint. The staff are extremely helpful and the rooms are great, I had a kingsize suite overlooking the pool. They have 12 different pillows on offer which I was very happy about because the standard hotel pillows are very uncomfortable for me. The conference room amenities are good but the lighting is not the best. The food in the Cafe is excellent but I wouldn't recommend the Brazilian style restaurant.

Impressed by the friendly attention of all staff including the lift attendants and the enquiry desk. They were most helpful, full of smiles .
The buffet meals were excellent with a wide variety available. Good work!

This review, on value scale at right, gets superlative marks.
However, nothing works perfectly all the time and it did not upon check-in this time. They assigned me to a room that, somehow did not get registered in their guest registration system. I was invisible to my local colleagues being able to call in from the outside and find me. I was invisible to the Wi-Fi registration system. I could not get registered on the Wi-Fi system. When I finally became aware that something was wrong and approached the registration desk about the problem, they were plenty confused. The problem was eventually resolved but it took a lot of fumbling on the part of staff. They assigned me a different room on a different floor. The process was not forthright in their communicating with me about what they had determined, what they were going to do about it and how long it would take to resolve the matter. The whole thing was not handled well and caused me a lot of delay. There did not seem to be much concern and barely an apology.
What is described above is a condensed version. What is referenced above, overall, surely must be an aberration. Everything else with my stay and two other recent stays went well.
At registration, I was not asked for my IHG Rewards number. It only occurred to me later to go to the IHG Web site and submit data about my stay.
