Good view and comfortable hotel.

We always stay here when visiting family in the area and our kids call it "our little hotel room". The service is great and everyone was very friendly.

Memorial Day Getaway

My wife and I were looking for a last minute getaway for the Memorial Day weekend and booked this hotel for two nights. The hotel was further out from Virginia Beach which was not an issue, unfortunately everything else was. The decor in the room was dated and the repairs done to the room were showed poor workmanship. The two piece shower doors were jammed together and I had to reprogram the thermostat to get a comfortable temperature in the room. I had booked the room with the free breakfast package. The first day my wife and I went down to breakfast at 8:30am there was no food and no clean tables. Apparently they were short on staff members so there were dirty dishes on the tables, food on the floor. I ended up getting my own silverware, coffee, and juice, but there was no food, so my wife and I left. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend and they were short people so I did not add insult to injury. When traveling for work I stay at many IHG properties and this is the first bad experience I have had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointed in our stay

The rooms need updating. We were not told even at check in that the pool was closed on memorial weekend? No signs either. Customer service was terrible Need to hire more competent people for front desk. The two restaurants had limited menus and we had only one waitress that was decent. Very disappointed to say the least and we travel allot.
