I forgot to bring my mobile charge, the server help me quick to get it. That is really helpful due to I need to see the number to call.

One thing should be improved is about Wifi...
There is NO Wifi provided from hotel and the LAN to Wifi device doesn't perform very well.

I stayed at the Suite for 1 night. The service is quite terrible particularly the concierge. We booked taxi for 6 in advance to watch the Impression West Lake show but when we are ready to go the taxi is not booked and we can't get taxi for 6, so we ended up getting on 2 taxis, even worst, the concierge told the 2 taxi drivers 2 different places so we could not meet at the same destination. We ended up walking and running for about 45 minutes to meet with the other 3 of us. What an unprofessional concierge for a 5 stars hotel.

This was my second stay at this hotel. This hotel is not far away from the city central location. If you taking a cab to city central just about 10 to 15 minutes and will only cost you about 15RMB. This hotel sevices were excellance. Hotel room was big and has a lot of moving space. Toilettery was ample supply. bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a wide range of selection and the service was good. I will come back again on my next visit. I will recommend this hotel to anyone whom want to have a comfort, quiet, peaceful and execllent service. Pricing is slightly higher but value for money.

之前常住Holliday Inn, 这次海外海的尝试还是非常值得的。价位相差不大，但酒店更新，房间更加宽敞。酒店的服务也很到位，几点小要求都很快有了答复，值得推荐。

1. the service is excellent in the hotel. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you step into the building. The staff is also very helpful when you ask for taxi or ask them where I can go to buy things.
2. even though I got "upgraded" to the 29/floor, my room was exceptionally small. At least compared to the Crowne Plaza I stayed at in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo; this room is the smallest room amongst all.
3. the lounge on the 29/floor is nice; with nice view, and nice snacks. However, while I was working one morning in the lounge; two staff members were having an argument, and they were screaming at each other in the Club Lounge. When I approached them to quiet down, twice, before they go somewhere else to continue their argument. I said to them that this is highly inappropriate for such a hotel.
4. the Chinese restaurant linked to the hotel is not really part of the hotel. It feels more like a local restaurant with deco/service/even table cloth, not suitable for association with the hotel. I was quite shocked.
I recommend this hotel due to its superb services. The restaurant may need some work. And staff arguing in the lounge is probably an one-off, and the staff possibly thought that the lounge was empty, and didn't know I was sitting around the corner doing work.

The overall decoration looks like older than hotel opened just 4 yrs, I don't think it is meet the standard of 5 stars hotel. Service is fair but far from good.

When I arrived in the hotel,I was given a twin room 2809.The room is very small and there is no welcome fruit for Platinum member,but it doesn't really matter.What is annoying me is that there are five big Flies in the room,that's disgusting!Although they have my room change to 27th floor after I called the manager but it did ruin my holiday.CP Grand Canal,never again!!!

The staff provided wrong wiring info which caused me lot's of troubles and did not communicate in time. As always, I think service of IHG is not as good as other five star hotel I have been stayed in.
