Great Bedding but Time for Renovations

Prefer this hotel when in Harrisburg, PA. Mattress and bedding are excellent. Rooms are comfortable. Very friendly staff. Would recommend. It's time for renovations as some of the furniture, bathroom and walls need an upgrade. Make-up mirror placed for someone over 6 feet tall. Excellent service with friendly staff. Could use a second person running for cars in the early AM.

Poorly run hotel

The hotel is clean and reception is friendly.

If you choose to sit at the bar for dinner make sure you sit at the bar top otherwise you will not get service. Be prepared to wait also as they only staff 1 person to manage the entire area. Becomes very chaotic and very apparent to the patrons. Don't be surprised if you hear sharp comments made to yourself or another patron.

Parking can be a challenge. A line of hotel customers sat on the street in front of hotel for OVER 30 minutes trying to get our cars parked while blocking traffic on a main road. It was very evident the valets had no sense of urgency while people sat in their cars and simply took their time getting cars moved out of the way. Dont expect to see a manager either, not so much as an apology, never mind waiving the $18.00 daily parking fee.

Plenty of other decent hotels in the area.

Great staff

Room was great, bed was more comfortable than most hotel beds that I usually get. Slept great. Staff was always saying hello and helpful when needed. Max (Bartender) was excellent.
