Samantha (I think was her name ) on breakfast was a breath of fresh air and very friendly, seemed very happy in her job and making our stay as good as it could be. Location is very close to exCel and O2, nearest DLR Royal Victoria Docks, Emirates Air cable car to the O2 is also close by and gives a great nighttime view of the area. [Less]
OK - Crowne Plaza is my favourite brand within the IHG group as I tend to stay in them more than anything else.
This hotel fits well within what you would expect.
I really was impressed by the[More]
staff - extra attentive. For London I was shocked.
Room service and quality of food was great, my only gripe is that my suite had two stories, the top floor being the sleeping area and bathroom. However as it is open plan all the heat from the room collects in the sleeping area and makes it so so hot. I did not sleep at all.
A design fault not the hotel staffs fault. Now I did try and leave the aircon on upstairs but it was very noisy at night as it was in full cooling mode, not to mention it dried out the atmosphere and thus kept you awake with dry mouth!
Apart from this I would certainly go back.
