We booked a twin and a double room for two nights in May 2015. On arrival we found we'd been allocated two double rooms but this was immediately rectified by the friendly staff member on duty who had[More]
warmly welcomed us to the hotel. He also mentioned that as IHG members we could have complimentary late check-out, which was welcome. The rooms were clean and in excellent condition, the only niggle in one room being a poorly fitting window which let a slight draught in (compensated for by the efficient heater!) and some road noise (but, being on the 4th floor, wasn't a problem). Breakfast was basic (cereals, toast, pastries but only three hot dishes - baked beans, sausages and scrambled egg) but plentiful and hit the spot. Wifi was available too at no charge and connection was quick and reliable, which is a must these days, and a nice touch as we find it's not always available in British hotels. The hotel is in a good location too, with adjacent parking at a reasonable cost for a city centre (unlike nearby Leeds!), and only a few minutes walk into the centre of Bradford (unlike nearby Leeds!) with its shops and restaurants. There's also a bowling alley, multi-screen cinema, casino and a couple restaurants next door and as a guest of the hotel you get 20% discount at the eateries, which is useful. Overall it was a nice stay at a good price (there was an offer on for IHG members), and I would recommend it to anyone. [Less]
