Came to the area to pick up my son from Sweden and decided to spend the weekend in Chicago. Hotel staff when we arrived was very courteous and professional. It did not take long to check in, which[More]
was very nice. I had reserved an Executive Suite room for the weekend because I was under the impression that it slept 4 people as the website stated. However; when we got to our room there was only the king bed and a love seat couch. I called the front desk to inquire about a rollaway bed and was told they didn't have any. So, my daughter had to sleep on the couch, which would have been fine if it wasn't made out of vinyl that makes a person sweat. I liked the fact that check out was at noon, it gave us plenty of time to sleep in a little before heading to the airport on Monday. Room was clean, toilet and shower. However; the shower was extremely slippery when I first got in. Other than not having a place for my daughter to sleep the only other complaint would be the elevator noise that we could hear through the walls because of where our room was located. That got a little annoying. The hotel is in a great location, price was better than most and it was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We would definitely return, but would call to make sure there was enough places to sleep. [Less]
The staff did not appear engaged with the customers. Their was one woman in her 50's that worked in the Breakfast Room and she did engage. Everyone else you had to approach them and then it was a[More]
rather "dry" experience.
The bathroom door is in the way of the toilet.
The day I checked in there was a plastic lid on the night stand and the next day the coffee cup I used was still on the night stand.
Water was hot. Nice. [Less]
Hotel was nice, clean and convenient. The staff was excellent. Parking and the airport shuttle are free.
If you have free time, the shuttle will take you to the airport and you can catch the CTA[More]
orange line and go down to the loop or Michigan Ave.
It is also near shopping and restaurants. [Less]
