I had tire trouble while traveling and stayed here without a reservation. The desk clerk was accommodating and friendly and more than willing to help. The spaces, including my room, were generally[More]
clean and tidy. My concerns are minor, I guess, in that I slept well, had an acceptable breakfast, and felt secure.
My criticisms would be these: housekeeping staff left a wadded-up washcloth flung over the shower curtain rod. The curtain was open, so I didn't notice it until I closed the curtain to shower. The noise from the freeway was a bit annoying, but I was tired enough to finally shut it out. Two or three fast food restaurants immediately in front of the hotel seem to have closed. There is also a Mexican restaurant there, which is adequate (food is good - nothing out of the ordinary - and drinks are moderately priced). But the empty buildings make the place look as if the whole area is depressed. Perhaps it is.
Bottom line - if you need a place to stay, this is more than adequate, and the staff are very friendly and know their jobs. [Less]
