you have a restaurant right there. I was told that all the NYC hotels decided to end the service. However, I was treated well by the staff especially George the manager, Sandra E and Vanessa F. At the Brasserie I was taken good care of by Clare L and Travis. I was using our points for this room and I was told that breakfast was included by the phone attendant but it apparently isn’t the case at this hotel. That was one reason why I booked there. I explained that situation to George and he was kind enough to give me a breakfast voucher. I was happy about that!
The room was not as clean, there were no robes and it was not of 4-5 star quality. The furniture is worn and the bathroom sink wood was quite worn. BUT the bed was very comfortable and that is one of the most important things, right? So it was really pretty good. Finally - the real kicker was that I was charged for the room - not good! I had to use my precious time to clear that up. It was a bummer to have to sit down and write everything down on an email, then make phone calls and be put on hold because it was now 5pm Friday and probably the busiest time at the Crowne Plaza.
