When staying at our pet friendly hotel in Asheville, it’s important to get out and about. Start off by heading over to Blaze 'N’ Skyy, a pet boutique where you’ll be able to pamper your pup. Whether it’s doggy treats you’re in need of, or you would like to get your pooch a jacket for the cold weather, this retailer has you covered—and in style. While you're there, be sure to say "hello" to Blaze and Skyy, the owner’s dogs.
Once you’ve stocked up on pet supplies, visit Grove Arcade, a public market built in 1929. This downtown destination teems with small businesses and restaurants. The building also houses office space and apartments. Pets are not allowed inside, but the Grove Arcade welcomes leashed dogs in the outdoor market area. Some of the restaurants here also allow Rover to sit with you at their outside tables.
One such restaurant is Carmel's. Located in the Grove Arcade, Carmel's serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Before heading back to your room at our Asheville pet friendly hotel, stop by the restaurant for a grilled pizza, a Kobe burger or blackened salmon with cheddar grits. Some nights, you’ll be able to enjoy live music while you dine.
