The hotel seemed to be an older building and from the furniture, slightly dated, but very very clean and maintained. I was recognized for my IHG platinum status and upgraded, which is why I stay with[More]
IHG. The room was clean and everything I expected. My one thing that stuck out about this stay was the breakfast. The breakfast was the BEST of any HI Express I have stayed at, and I travel a lot. There was a wider selection, and more condiments, and the man that staffed it kept it topped off and fresh constantly. It was the standard breakfast setup but just extra care, attention, and selection. For example not just bagels but six different kinds to choose from. Of any HI Express I have stayed at the biscuits are always dry and hard, eatable but not great. These were the same biscuit but not over baked and dry, they were moist and delicious. I could go on and on, it was just the detail and care taken. I wish every HI Express would take a lesson from this place, and I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name that staffed it that morning to pass along to management. Excellent job. [Less]
