Stayed at the Indigo this past weekend while in Houston for a reunion. The hotel at best is difficult to find unless you are extremely familiar with the area.
The staff is superb but their are some[More]
things that need to be addressed.
Blackout curtains in the rooms need to be a priority. You just cannot hardly get any sleep with all the ambient light flowing in the room and especially an early sunrise.
If a room has a kitchenette, then put the refrigerator in the kitchen and not in the living room. It's annoying to have to go from kitchen to living room and then back to kitchen when prepping anything.
The wood floors, while attractive are "dust bunny" collectors....they're everywhere.
But beyond all that, the inattentiveness by the waitress' during a slow Saturday morning breakfast, and being served cold coffee from a carafe is inexcusable. I expect more for a twenty dollar breakfast (eggs, coffee, and juice). [Less]
My family and I stayed here while visiting Houston for a service at Lakewood church. The location was perfect, mere minutes from Lakewood! The staff warmly greeted us upon arrival and were always[More]
friendly. The room was clean and the laundry facility was a great added benefit as we had been traveling for a few days. The cupboard was also a huge hit with kids as it made getting snacks easier than having to drive around town (and who wants to drive in Houston traffic!) The complementary coffee in the morning was the best perk for me and the wife as it helped power us thru the day on our journey back home. [Less]
