Good spot to stay. I wish healthier options for breakfast was available. Like you can make healthy eggs without all the grease or fake cheese or explore gluten free options. The level of noise is a[More]
little much after even 11pm. People are allowed to run the halls, etc and nobody from the front desk say anything. It makes for a bad night sleep. I wish front desk would make it clear to keep it quiet or have some kind of "quiet hours". and there was way too much chlorine in the pool. We itched for days after and that has never happened. Stayed two nights while taking in a couple of exhibits at Seattle Center. It is within walking distance, but I have walking issues so only did that once. Drove the second time and paid for valet[More]
parking. Totally worth it!
The hotel is nothing out of the ordinary, but the underground parking was very convenient, the room was fine, the staff was friendly and helpful, the internet was free and worked, the breakfast was free and had a reasonable variety of foods. The quality was not stupendous, but it was certainly edible, and it was free!
You're right beside a freeway, so it was noisy with the windows open, but fine with them closed.
Because I can't walk far, there really were very few places to go for food. There is a restaurant at the Holiday Inn (I stayed at the HI Express next door). We didn't eat there, however.
If walking is not an issue, it's a well-priced hotel not far from the city center. If it is and you want to sightsee more, you might want to get a little closer to downtown.
I would happily stay here or another HI Express again because of its price, location, and facilities. [Less]
