Needed a hotel after a wonderful cruise and most of the beach hotels were really expensive. However, this hotel was a great price and a great place to stay. Its not directly on the water but a walk across the street and your there. There is also a convenient store next to the hotel for those midnight munchies. The best is the pool/tiki bar. This was a nice plus for us. It was just a nice relaxing couple of days hanging out buy the pool. We even had dinner by the pool. Another plus is that its about 5 mins away from a casino. Cant go wrong here.

I just returned from a fun and relaxing mini vacation get away to Hollywood, FL. This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood. The service was even better than last time. They have a new pool bar with great bartenders and servers and the prices are reasonable too!
I feel this Crowne Plaza is best suited for adults, couples and families looking for a quiet hotel with a great location and everything you need within 15 min walk. Shopping for last minute supplies or snacks, great restaurants and bars (Check out the Upper Deck to watch YOUR favorite game) and the beech is right across the street from the hotel. The big hotel pool is perfect for kids or adults looking to laze around or swim.
The rest of the Hollywood Beech fun is less than a 15 min $1 trolley ride away, and the Adventura Mall is a quick cab ride away for shopping or a movie.
Staff were very helpful, the doormen could answer any question and the front desk staff were fast at check in and with any requests.
I will definitely be back

I did not stay at this location in March but was charged for same. I received an email reservation confirmation on March 21 for a room booked for March 24 and advised that there was an error as I did not book same. They went ahead and charged my card plus attempted to charge another $2,000 on my card that was fortunately denied. Beware!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Staff was Amazing
Was expecting this hotel to be closer to the action in Hollywood also thought we could walk around but there was nothing to walk to so that was a huge disappointment. Upon check in we asked for a late check out as our flight wasn't until 8pm and we were given a 3pm complimentary check out which I was very appreciative for. The hotel is nice, the pool area and Tiki bar are great. Our room was nothing special as a matter of fact we had a balcony which we were hoping would have more of a view of the intercoastal waterway but we saw more of the parking lot instead. The table and two chairs that were supposed to be on the balcony - there was only one chair and table on the balcony - I called to get another chair and we received a ballroom chair not an outdoor chair! The kitchenette was nice to have but it didn't have any dishes, silverware, glasses, or any utensils just empty cabinets. Not many channels on the TV. I would like to commend the front desk for their help in getting my boarding pass printed. The business center printer wasn't working and the internet was as slow as a snail. Glad I wasn't trying to work, however, the front desk clerk and I wish I got his name, allowed me to print my boarding pass on their printer. Also Kevin, the Concierge was wonderful. He ran around getting people's bags, making sure that everyone had what they needed and couldn't have been nicer - he certainly is an asset to the hotel. Manny at the Tiki Bar was lots of fun and extremely nice. We were hoping for an upgrade but weren't offered one - i did write on my reservation that we would pay for an upgrade for a corner room especially when we say that they were the only rooms with really good views. The bathrooms had NO ventilation at all which is really weird - not even a fan and because the sink was outside the bathroom, there was no place to put anything down. The restaurant on site had a buffet breakfast which was not good - cold eggs, no bacon, nothing exciting and very bland and it wasn't cheap. we were going to have a late lunch or dinner there on our last day but they close between 2 and 5 so that was out. We ate at the Tiki bar and the food was pub fare and fine. There was no where else close or within walking distance to have a nice meal. Cabs seemed to cost $30 or more one way to anywhere. The $1 trolley was a treat and got us down to the boardwalk and restaurant area but it took forever to get back and we finally had to take a cab. All in all there were some nice things about the hotel, in particular the staff, but the location absolutely turned me off so we will not be back.

This property offers great value and comfort compared to its nearby more pricey competitors. Pool is nice and beach access is easy right across the street. Service is great. Restaurant and poolside bar could be a little more upscale, but this is relatively minor. Breakfast is a great deal also. I know I will be staying there again.

I liked everything about this Hotel, except from charging for parking...
It´s very near to the beach, has great views from your room, great space and ammenities in the room, near a Walmart Supercenter for any emergency need (and a 7Eleven just next door) and easy to take the route or arrive from... yet don´t know why its called "Hollywood" if it´s just in front of "Hallandale beach"... (???)
