A Dated Hotel Badly in need of an update

This hotel's been around awhile, and it shows. From random strangers walking into our conference and eating our food and "casing" some of the vendor booths, to drastically overpriced rooms with burns on the floor from an iron that was too much for someone to figure out how to operate safely... not impressed.

I recommend you save your money or go elsewhere.

Okay overall

Room was clean, but there were 3 noticeably broken fixtures (lamp, shower toggle, telephone).
Parking bad, loud large diesel trucks parking at outside rooms taking up more than one spot per vehicle left little room to park.
Also, make sure maid service pulls your door closed....mine was open all day.

My First and Last visit

When I arrived since I was going to stay for 12 days, I had clothes that needed to be hung. I ask for extra hangers never got them. I cannot sleep with feather pillows I asked for some, waited two days to again ask for them, and was told did not have any other available. Two pillows apperaed one day later. Slep with towels for four days. My room was not cleaned on three different days, and on four different days the garbage was not emptied. I had mail shipped to me and only after I asked for it I was told I had any. No messages no call. I call the GMs office three times and left voice mails never got a pone call back. Continental breakfast was boring and the service never there. The worst stay in many years, having been a hotel profesional this was not aceptable at all.

Mistakes checking in

Guaranteed King rooms on the phone due to a late check in, when we got there they were not available and we were stuck in the far out reaches of the annex. Shouldn't have bothered wasting breath I guess
