Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience! Corridor with very bad smell! Water in the bathroom with very low pressure. During check-in authorisation from VISA more that the agreed amount for the booking! Double check from the reception if the client drank more than.....what he declared! Hotel's personnel with very bad English. Far away from Taxim square. August 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crown Plaza Standard I have come to expect a certain level of quality with this chain, and am always happy to stay there. The staff was spectacularly helpful. The location is not great as far as convenience, but much of that is alleviated by the availability of the hotel shuttle to Taksim Square. I did feel that the hotel bar was a bit expensive. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A picture of the CP Harbiye The absolute most important thing to get right in a hotel, apart from the guest's personal safety, is a good nights sleep. Where a hotel cannot deliver this because its designers ignore proper sound insulation then that hotel is not worth staying at. This is the case with the Crowne Plaza Harbiye. Also it is expected of a brand like Crowne Plaza that the hotel will be in a good part of town. The CP Harbiye is on a poor street that has a concentration of back street car repair shops and thererfore the street has a lot of beat up vehicles parked here, there and everywhere, there are no side walks, there are several poorly maintained properties some of which have been demolished leaving just an open space for rubbish, rubble July 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk I have asked for a quite room. they gave me 3 rd floor. nothing in the room with noise of construction in the back. I went to front desk and asked them to change my room. they gave me 7 th floor and room was nicer and had everything in it even bowl of fruit , cookie , tooth brush, tooth past and a lot more which they were not in the first room. why I have to go throe all this to get what I paid for? I have asked front desk two times to use the phone they almost refused . your house keeper, drivers and the person who gave info for the tourist and places were very nice. your breakfast bar was not too great, July 11, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service, noisy rooms The hotel has two main problems: noisy rooms and poor service/staff. About low level of protection from street noise - it's hard to sleep when you have garbage collection car coming at 1am, and nearby mosque operational already at 5am. I´ve stayed in this hotel several times because of the location, and I´m not very pleased with the personnel at the reception. Sometimes they forget to include your IHG card, frequently lose emails with payment guarantees, and last time when I arrived at midnight, they messed up with rooms and it took them 1 hours just to bring additional bed sheets for my kid. Nothing comparing to Crown Plaza hotels in other countries. July 3, 2014
