We really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and didn't want to leave. It is a great place for vacationing or business and I highly recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and efficient.Rooms had good views of sea and Izmir.Food in the panoramic restaurant was excellent.
The hotel unfortunately is located a long way outside Izmir main shopping and business area.The Shuttle bus is useful but did not wait for us at the airport when we were 10 minutes late due to a delay.The bus needs to respond to individuals and their requests rather than run on tight fixed schedule especially when no other guests had requested the shuttle.

This hotel makes you feel extremely welcome and comfortable.
The club floor is great and the view of the ships going by
always fascinating.

Absolutely high-end, upscale hotel. I love Turkey and namely Izmir, sometimes I am used to joke that I wanna to die there. I have been traveling to Izmir since 1995. First I was used to stay in Hilton, later changed for Crowne Plaza. I had stayed there many, many times. The only absurdity I had to face last time when booking hotel prior to my arrival was that I had been asked for mailing a scanned copy of my passport. That was incredible. I have not been internationally sought person. I am a frequent client of the hotel, member of priority club. I could understand it would have been my first visit but not in my case. On the other hand I am sure reception has got many copies of my passport for the past years and thus I rejected to send it.
This specific issue should be really changed in the futere. Otherwise great place!!!!

This is the BEst Crown Plaza Ever
the Location is far from City Center but wonderfull place and easy access to city center by Crown Shutell or a very frequent public transport
the Room is So big and nicely dicorated
the SPA is Super with Hotspring Thermal
the Pool is realy big and nice
the turkish bath is wonderfull
the Stuff is very knowlegable and kind
if iam in izmir i will only stay in CP Izmir

Spent a great night in the hotel, overlooking the bay from our beautiful room. Wonderful colour scheme, good bed and bathroom, wonderfully quiet and elegant hotel.
Another pleasant note: when booking we had concluded a price in euros and the same price appeared on our credit card statement we received later at home. Another hotel elsewhere in Turkey had used such an exchange rate (quoting in euros, charging in Turkish lira, which was then exchanged back into euros on our account) that the price turned out to be disproportionally higher. So we were pleased about the correct, businesslike attitude of the Crown Plaza.

I was in Izmir for work and stayed at the Crowne Plaza. I used their airport shuttle to travel between the hotel and airpiort. Very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable and great for sleeping (quiet, good ability to close drapes and exclude outside light, comfortable for sleeping). Some of my best nights sleep ever on the road. The location of the hotel is a distance from the city; but they offer a free shuttle service into town. The area surrounding the hotel is along a bay (great for walking/running) and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
The staff was very attentive and service oriented. Great place to stay.
