Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It was a nice place to sleep This hotel was nice, but I have stayed at just as nice of hotels at a cheaper price. I was quite disappointed when I was not greeted as a platinum member. I feel sure that I should have been offered an upgrade as the building I stayed in had basically no cars at it. My next stay will be at another priority club facility where I almost always receive upgrades and am gladly welcomed as a platinum elite member. March 26, 2013

Always go the extra mile to make me feel welcome and at home while providing outstanding customer service... Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, BUT . . . I really did enjoy my room, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel based on the room alone. The staff at check in was very friendly, but the staff at checkout were not. Stayed two nights and there was a dirty wine glass on the floor outside my door (as well as other glasses by several other doors on my floor) that was not removed during the length of my stay. Also there was a terrible, rotting smell by the vending/ice machine on my floor which did not dissipate the entire length of my stay. Maybe the garbage can liner needed to be changed?? And there was a fold up bed and a vacuum parked next to the vending area, and remained there during the length of my stay. This gave the hotel a less than professional appearance to have accessories and maid equipment not stowed after working hours. Herein lies my conflict of review: alright, so my room is comfortable and inviting but I have a dirty wine glass outside my door and a putrid smell to deal with every time I want to get ice. When I informed the staff of these things, they seemed very indifferent and barely (mechanically) apologized. I would stay again at this Crowne Plaza, but I was severely disappointed in the lack of focus on several details that contributed to the overall experience of my stay. January 4, 2013

The bed was comfortaable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was nice but a tad bit small. The inside of the hotel was gorgeous. Great for a romantic stay or business. My husband and I went there for Romance :-) He loved every bit of it. Highly recommended December 10, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great room, horrible restaurant. I cannot complain one bit about the banquet servers, event staff, front desk staff and housekeepers. As part of a wedding, we received a late check out and a great rate. Everyone was amazing, except one department. Something I must comment on, is the complete lack of service and respect from the in-house restaurant staff. I understand they were understaffed for that morning, however why did they not acknowledge the fact that after a wedding the family and wedding party would need breakfast the morning after? Is there not a resume meeting or managers meeting in the hotel? How could the manager of the restaurant not think that they should have more than 2 line cooks and 3 servers on hand? When we ordered our meal, not only did it take over 34 minutes (our party of 4 had 2 omelettes, 1 french toast and 1 blueberry pancakes), but when finally receiving our order, the person who ordered the blueberry pancakes was handed regular pancakes with an, "I'm sorry we ran out of blueberries". Could someone not come out and ask if they would like something different? Or at least have the decency to say they ran out and realized at the last moment and they would take care of that meal (especially considering the pancakes were at a 2000% + margin)? As well, when we received our checks, two of the items were charged wrong. When showing the manager, all we received were excuses. Also, she was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a loose sweater-extremely casual as if she was going out for a walk in her neighborhood, nothing a manager should ever wear while on the floor. I don't believe the manager realized what she got herself into when we sat ourselves, considering the four of us all graduated from the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and currently work in 4 diamond resorts in Orlando. However, no one, no matter what their background in the industry, should have to go through an experience like that when there is a Denny's across the street and Cracker Barrel down the street where they can get better service with no excuses and at least a smile. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room clean and comfortable. Very please with accommodations. The check in staff was very accommodating and made certain I got all the information that I needed. I had a good experience from the shuddle driver who picked me up at the airport, the ladies who cleaned my room, to those who served me in the restaurant to the driver back to the airport. My stay was a good stay and I will stay again at Crowne Plaza. November 26, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight Layover I booked a night here when the cruise ship I was working on was set to go under maintenance. The staff was helpful and more than friendly. Room service was prompt and the food was excellent. The shuttle to the airport was perfectly on time and I arrived exactly as they had predicted and was helped with the loading and unloading of my baggage at the terminal. The resturand inside was nice and the wait staff extremely friendly. 5 starrs all round. November 23, 2012

I am a frequent traveler and stay in Jacksonville 35 or more times a year, normally at Crowne Plaza Riverfront. Because of last minute reservations I was only able to get a room at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport, what a mistake will not happen again!! Did I mention Worst service, restaurant and Hotel Staff! Want a great room, great service and Great team of People stay Downtown Jacksonville Riverfront With Sara and her team!!! November 14, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Location and nice hotel My 100 year old mother lives not too far from the Jacksonville Airport. There is not enough room at her house for my husband to have a place to sleep; that is why when he visits with me, we stay at this hotel. There are other hotels in the area, but we like this one best. Not too long ago, we had a luncheon in the restaurant for her 100th birthday; a few days later a dinner for the out-of-town guests. Service, food was excellent. We have not had very much time to take advantage of the other amenities, but hope to be able to do that some time when visiting her. October 6, 2012
