Not too many eating options in the neighborhood, so we had dinner in the hotel restaurant - dinner was suprisingly excellent. September 5, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Driving to hotel from Atlantic City to catch a flight back home and got lost finding hotel. We called hotel staff and they did a great job of getting us to the hotel without getting stuck in the traffic. At check-in, they suggested taking our rental car to the airport and getting a shuttle back so we could us the morning shuttle to go to the airport to catch our flight. Great idea that saved us lots of time in the morning. Thanks for an enjoyable stay and courteous staff both in the evening and the morning at checkout. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Check-in was a bit slow for it being after 10:30 pm; however, I understood because they were check-in a large airline crew. The room was welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, I slept like a champ and the shower was very nice. Love the view from my room and could not hear the outside noise of the freeway. I was there for business and brought my spouse along for this trip. We enjoyed the accommodations and hated leaving that shower behind. September 2, 2014

The wi-fi was poor and a pain, having to sign in after each use or about once an hour. Also, the building shook too much, but it is an airport hotel so this is to be expected. This hotel is very clean and except for all of the elevator rides, comfortable. Enjoy... August 31, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel Food and Snacks Expensive Hotel is in a good location for JFK with regular free shuttle service. Rooms are good with a nice view of the NYC skyline in the distance if room is located on west side of the building. Only downside was that drinks, meals and snacks were quite expensive and there isn't much in the way of any alternative restaurants, bars or shops within walking distance. August 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor hotel Nicely refurbished but IHG have forgotten the basics here. Its an airport hotel and next to a freeway. Yet the windows offer almost no soundproofing whatsoever! The aircon is noisy and if you are unfortunate enough to be near the ice machine you'll struggle to know what is noisier, the aircon, ice machine or the outside noise! Rooms are nice and the staff are great - but the hotel is poor. If you're here for a lay over or a temp stop....go elsewhere. You may as well prop up the bar all night, I wish I had! August 23, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Location for Airport Travelers A nice clear hotel professionally staffed and run with close proximity to JFK for travelers. Airline crews stay at this hotel so that tells you that it's the right place to stay. Lobby is modern and clean and dispute the busy nature of an airport location the staff is fast and polite. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through JFK that lives in the tri-state area and doesn't want to get up at 4 am to fight traffic to catch a morning flight. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Super Stay at Crowne Plaza New York Our stay was great. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The staff were very friendly from check-in to manager, to housekeeping and restaurant. Everybody worked hard and their pleasant smiles to to really tired guests returning from South Africa made all the difference. Check out was a breeze with no holds on the credit card as the account was settled on the spot. We did not make use of all the services due to the shortness of our stay but we will certainly go back. Shuttle to JFK, free wifi, ATM in the lobby, business center, restaurant a floor below the lobby and other services make this hotel a great place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst place to stay before a long flight My husband and I were simply looking to stay at a hotel by the airport to make our travel in the morning easier and to get some sleep beforehand. We were placed on the first floor of the hotel and they cleaned the floor the WHOLE entire night. I slept with headphones in just to try to block out the noise but even that didnt work. Doors slammed all night and we got the worst sleep of all time. Hotels should be respectful of the fact that people go here to SLEEP! I would not recommend this hotel for anyone trying to stay over and get some rest before a long flight. Needless to say our day of travel was not pleasant. August 14, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Made reservation but no rooms available at check-in had to wait 1.5 hours Poor check-in service in the late evening. Long lines and stressed out customers. No rooms available that were clean. They sent me to the bar saying I was on the top of the list to get a room and I would be called. An hour and a half later when I inquired, everyone else was given a room and when I asked if mine was now available there was not any clean ones still. Another 15 - 20 minutes later I got a room. Front desk offered nothing. I gave them my Crown card and they gave it back and said the number didn't work and they couldn't help me. About the worst hotel customer service I have encountered. First visit was to celebrate a family member's 100th birthday and the last trip was to celebrate her home going and amazingly long life. The banquet was held at the Crowne Plaza, everything was outstanding, the food, beverages and the services provided by the staff.. The staff on both occasions were very professional and on top of everything. The facilities were clean and very nice. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant and bar area was very good, very attentive, courteous. I would highly recommend this property and plan to return on my next trip to New York. The shuttle service to the hotel and back to the airport was very convenient, the driver was very courteous and professional. August 6, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good rooms, below average service, isolated location Good rooms: comfortable bed, clean bathroom, noisy traffic for rooms overlooking the highway. Below average service: slow, non attentive staff in the restaurant. Food quality is below the average I usually get in the USA. Isolated location: nothing at all around the hotel, you must take a taxi for any shopping, restaurant or sightseeing. Cost between $18 and $35 to go to the closest shopping malls. A shuttle bus to JFK airport is another option to go to Manhattan (about 60 min ride). No street map, no train network map available in the hotel. August 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed fair service The room was clean yet there was no coffee maker. This led us to the restaurant downstairs to ask for coffee which was overpriced. The hostess at 6:15 am was less than friendly and or accommodating. She asked if we were with Delta ... as if they receive better service or a discounted price. A coffee maker or complimentary cup would be most beneficial. August 4, 2014

You were always greeted by friendly staff members. The room was very large, with ample space to maneuver. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel with misleading ad The hotel itself is great without any issues. My problem with the hotel is that the online ad where I booked (the IHG site) specifically said complementary parking. So when I got to the hotel with my family at 10pm I expected to be able to park my car for the duration of our 3 day trip. I was told by the front desk staff that this was not allowed. Their solution was to go to a hotel next door and park with them. Of course I was basically forced to do this for a fee. I do not mind paying the fee to Crowne Plaza if that was even an option but to have us go to another hotel to park seemed odd. Next time I travel from JFK I will just stay at the hotel next door. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by AC did not work and staff response was poor AC did not work but the staff could not fix it after the first try. Technician claimed that the AC would start to work in the next 5-10 minutes but it never worked. Poor response and plus there was no apologies from the front desk. It was as if it was a norm. In the morning, they promised that 2000 IHG points would be put in to my account but nothing has shown up yet. July 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from home I stayed at this Crowne Plaza for almost 2 weeks for work and I had a great guest experience every time I walked thru the doors. Lynne was amazing at remembering names and helping whenever she could. Really made the stay away from home feel more comfortable! Everyone was great and amazing, from the guy who would help me with the taxis and trains to the night shift people handing a huge group of tired Flight Attendants even down to Jenni at the bar who we knew was tired but still took our orders at the bar with a smile! thank you all and Ill see you guys next month!!.. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great food This hotel was good. The food was great and the room was comfortable. The air conditioning unit seemed to switch itself off however. There was also a lot of noise in the hallways outside my room around 3am. The only other gripe was that the cleaners wanted too enter the room at 8am which is way to early. Especially when getting use to time zones. July 14, 2014
