We were looing for a hotel close to the Midland theater. Looking for quality, comfort and good value. They were 3 for 3. Will be back if coming back to downtown Kansas City.

Unpleasant stay

Winter air blowing into room, had to plug up with blankets. Heater would only kick in at 72 degrees and then it was too hot, no comfortable temperature. Brought to the attention of hotel, but was not able to switch rooms due to hotel being full, and not given extra blankets. Was offered a coffee in lobby to make up for the discomfort. Mattress left my back stiff, was not comfortable. Overall not happy with the experience and will not choose to stay at Crowne Plaza in future.

The mattress had seen many better days before we got there. Big divots.
There were a bunch of cheerleaders that checked in the day after us. Did not have hot water after that.
Restaurant staff was not the greatest. Room 1224.
