Dank- dark room, overcrowded with furniture, and a bed so high they had to remove the base to lower it. Window faced a wall about 10ft away. Employees were great and did their best to accomadate us but the hotel is just too old and outdated. We wanted to stay 3 nights but left after 2, since I am in a wheelchair it became too much of a hassel to move around the room.

Nice beds. Most of the staff were very friendly. The location is nice as it is right in the middle of Duval Street. We had a car but walked everywhere. For the price you pay for the room you would think they would not charge extra for parking. We would go back there to stay again.

Overall stay was ok. Our experience was affected by the realization our duvet cover was old and blood stained upon arrival. We also awoke to a bathroom without toilet tissue. Smell of cigar smoke from a neighboring room was constant. Location was excellent and staff was friendly. Had stayed in this hotel before and had a better experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hotel stay at the Crowne in Key West. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was courteous and the hotel was exdceptionally clean and an ideal location to all amenities.

If you are going to be in town for Fanatsy Fest this place is a nightmare with trafic and no parking! I was disapointed that no breakfast was included with the stay.

This Key West location is perfect if your looking to stay right on Duval Street. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the decor was modern with a tropical touch. I loved it. I would definately recommend this hotel, the staff was very gracious and always available to assist. The hotel lobby is really fantastic to, with nicely appointed comfortable furniture, an upper library for just getting away a bit and they even offer this wonderful naturally flavored cold water with limes. Delicious. It just made for a perfect moment to stop and relax. There is a rooftop viewing area to overlook Duval Street and a very small pool on the 2nd level. There is also a Starbucks downstairs and a pretty decent laid back restaurant, but we had a hard time getting served. But it was a busy weekend. Overall we love this hotel, they did leave a note while we were gone that they shampooed the carpet while we were out, which was rather odd. But we took into account that this is Key West!

The hotel has a great location in Key West, right in the center of the action. The only complaints I have is the front desk person was not very friendly or helpful. One night our room was serviced well below the quality you would expect from a Crown Plaza. Dirty towels where left with out replacements, no soap or shampoo, no clean glasses , no Kleenex and no toilet paper. We wrote and dropped of a letter at the front desk the next morning . From then on our room was serviced to perfection. I will say in the hotels defense we stayed there during a major event in Key West and the hotel was sold out. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for Fantasy Fest this past week and the location is perfect. Centrally located on Duval. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again next year.

We love coming to the La Concha every year. They have the friendliest and most helpful Bellmen and Hotel staff. Love the renovations. and of course the best views in Key West of the sunset. We had a balcony room which was amazing for the parade. Looking forward to next year.

I have been staying here every year for the past 4 years, and it just keeps getting better. They have re-modelled the rooms since last year, and they look great! The staff is excellent and are always there to help with any requests. Phil, the bellman, is still there to welcome you with a big smile and helpful hints for your stay. See you next year!

My wife and I travel to Key West three times a year and always stay at the La Concha. The hotel is centrally located and the newly remodeled rooms are very comfortable. We have gotten to know many of the staff members over the years and always look forward to visiting with them.

Very noisy room, tub would not drain due to hair clog and inconsistent room cleaning. They cleaned the carpets in the middle of my stay, so wet for 24 hrs. I have stayed here before with better results. Zero consideration for a platinum member when I asked for a better room.

That atmoshphere and dining were great. Irma at the front desk on the late shift was very nice and accommodating. My experience there might have been a rare situation in which 3 days we were without hot water. Cold showers were not received well. This was apprently due to a boiler going down. No calls were made to us in regards to this, we had to update them. Was comped a dinner and a breakfast for this, really big. Maid service was not the greatest. So stay at your own risk. Frank, the concierge, was not helpful, actually kinda rude.

A truly enjoyable place to stay in Key West! The location is so convenient and the roof top view of the sunset is incredible. All the staff are Customer Service Stars!!!!! Definitely will book again the next time we're down!

The sink in the bathroom would not empty. The stopper could not be raised to empty the water from the sink. I went to the desk and reported it the first day we were there and they said they would have it fixed. When we returned to the room the water in the sink was gone but the stopper would not open so the water just stood in the sink again. Also the water faucet was dripping and could not be shut off. When we departed after the second day I was asked how our stay was and I again told them that we still had a problem with the sink in the room. As we were leaving the lady at the desk was calling the maintenance man again. Don't know if they ever got it fixed but for sure it didn't make for a very nice stay. We have stayed there before but I don't know if I will try it again.

This is our favorite hotel on Duval to be close to all the action. I love that you can park your car and not see it again until it's time to drive home! I've been staying at this hotel for 20+ years and have always enjoyed my stay. I love it when we can splurge and get the terrace rooms on the 2nd floor. The staff is great, the rooms clean and the beds super comfortable. This hotel is pricey but well worth it for the ultimate Key West experience!

In the heart of Key West right on Duval Street. Was disappointed from the start by the overall appearance. Our room was nicely furnished, but SMALL and overlooked the parking lot. The room never got cleaned on our next to last day, so when we returned from the wedding for our last night, it was as we left it that morning. The restaurant service was good once we were waited on and the breakfast was good, but slow to clean tables and get to you. Next time we would stay somewhere else.

WOW! Right on Duval Street. This 1920s hotel is renovated and perfect. We had a great corner suite overlooking Duval Street. You are close to everything. Great sunset from the roof bar and an excellent pool and bar as well. Service throughout is wonderful. Valet parking is so convenient and the guys are so friendly and efficient. You have many choices in Key West but this hotel should be your first choice for price and location. You don't have to spend a fortune to enjoy Key West!

You could not ask for a better location, mid way down duvall street making it an easy walk to all the local attractions.
Has a roof bar making it an ideal place to watch the magnificent Key West sunsets - make sure you watch it from the water side also for all the street entertainers from about an hour before sunset.
The rooms are decent sized and very comfortable, we have no real complaints - we did not eat in the hotel so cannott comment on food.
Had to pay extra for car parking(we did know this in advance) but I really wish it was included in the price.
Checkin for me was very poor, but hey ho I am on holiday it was not going to spoil my stay.
A big gripe! we had paid in advance and had a zero bill on checkout (except parking) but when I got back to England I was charged again for the hotel and it took an age to get the money back.
I do like Crowne Plazas and we will be staying at one again December at Madrid Air.port

The hotel offered a great view of the Key West Sunset and it's bar was conveniently located. The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Concierge arranged transportation with no difficulty. It was an overall totally enjoyable stay in the area. Great central location to the hot spots. Would definately stay there again.
