If you are looking for a Motel, NOT a Hotel...

Our stay was less than desirable. This Hotel just renovated the entire property so it appeared beautiful when we walked in. Yet the only positive part of our stay was that the sheets were clean and hair free. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms, even across the hallways. The room floors were dirty, the windows (which we had 6 of) were caked in dust but covered up by shutters. The shower had hair on the walls & the toilet had God only knows down the front of it. Every morning there were people pressure washing the sideways on Duval and every night the walls talked. So if we could sleep from 230 am to 6am it was a good night. At this hotel's price point there are a TON of other options off of Duval...go to those!
When the front desk asked how our stay was going and we advised concerns...their response was "welcome to Key West". Classy!

Overnight in key west

We arrived at 3:15 and we're told that our room wasn't ready so needed to change in the public restroom. Which had a clogged toilet. Would have been nice to let us use a room to change clothes. We drove 5 hours:( checked in and the toilet seat was off of the toilet so requested that it be fixed. Went out for a while. Had a power outage for an hour but staff was accommodating in the lobby with candles and assistance to elevator. Changed in the room by the light of our phones to go out to dinner:( came back and toilet was repaired. Bed was fairly comfortable but be prepared rooms are small. Would have been nice to be comped at least a drink at the bar for inconveniences. Might recommend for a night due to location....

We had a great stay at this fabulous hotel in our first visit to Key West. The hotel is very well located in the center of all activities and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the ocean. The staff were accommodating and helpful. Great spot. I highly recommend it.

Top Notch

The staff was impeccable and the location could not be beat. On our 1st nite, we stayed in a "King Suite" with a balcony on the 2nd floor. This room was awesome ! It was quite large and the balcony which overlooked Duval Street was gigantic. It was the corner balcony. On our 2nd nite we stayed in a "standard King" room. This room was okay, a little bit on the small side. The beds in both rooms were very comfortable. One minor issue for me was that the paint on the bathroom ceiling was chipping in the smaller room. The Happy hour is a great deal from 4:30-6:30- All well drinks and wine are $4.30, Beer is 2 for $4.30 and with an exquisite $4.30 App menu. -Shout out to Bo at check in, Phil at the valet, and the bartender at Happy Hour last Friday- They made are stay an excellent one !
