Worst maintained hotel I have ever stayed at.

This place is a wreck regarding maintenance. About ten years ago my wife and I stayed there and it was a really nice place and had a little class. It is really bad now. Some examples:
The ice machines of floor 3 and 4 inoperative.
The heater in the pool inoperative.
The exercise room moved to another floor.
The microwave downstairs had a inoperative turntable.
The entire entrance area was dirty and unattractive. The cigarette butt tree broken, The red stamped concrete was filthy. The flowers in pots by the doors were nearly dead. The floor under the flower pots was filthy. The window ledges by the front door dirty.
The striping in the parking lot was in poor condition.
The grey paint on the sidewalk outside the entrance had spots of missing paint.
The ATM machine broken all weekend.
The heater/AC in the room was noisy.
The exhaust system for steam from a shower was inoperative.

Thought about going to the bar about 9:45 and there were only four people there and one was a staff member, too dead to enjoy.

$15.95 for a buffet in a second rate hotel makes no sense at all. They were expecting a lot of people for the buffet Sunday morning and set up tables in the center area, not a single one was used, the restaurant was not full either.

Hello UO Duck! Ten years can be rough on a place, I know I don't look anywhere near as good as I did in 2005 (I had more hair then too). You and your wife will be glad to know that our new owners are coming up with plans to turn back the clock. Today, as I type this, we have a crew in house renovating two rooms to showcase what we'll look like next Spring. We'll look fresh and modern (I hope to lose these extra pounds I've gained over the years and look as good). At Your Service, W. Roger Beebe, General Manager

Getting a little tired but good food

This hotel is getting a little tired and it seems sloppy in the process. The rooms are showing wear and amenities are lacking for the value. On the positive side, the rooms are quiet and the breakfast buffet is fantastic.

Old and getting older

By

This property is definitely aging. There doesn't appear to be a lot of effort going into updating it. There is a musty feel and smell upon entering and it lingered into the guest room.
