My stay was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to help me while staying at the hotel and the hotel itself was filled with amenities that made it such that I rarely had to leave. There was water offered in the lobby with lemons/limes and while that sounds like a simple type of amenity, it was greatly appreciated by me. I often times like to be able to have a cool refreshing drink while walking about and I didn't have to buy an expensive bottleof water from a vending machine.

Great Experience for our Meeting

The hotel staff was absolutely awesome to work with. Our event planner threw a few curveballs at them at the last minute with menus changes and they were so accommodating.

great bed

the bed in the room is to die for. we also enjoyed the room but that is where our enjoyment stopped. i had multiple rooms that I made reservation for all with 1 card after a couple of extra calls from the hotel we still had a hard time checking in. The bar on a friday nite with over 80 people in use. decided to close again at 1130pm. this happened last year also at least at that time they decided to remain open till 1230. this is not our group's 1st time staying at your hotel. this property has always been a challenge.

You are correct that the bar area should have remained open and available for you and your guests later than 11:30 p.m. Our #1 goal is always our guests' satisfaction and we have discussed this situation with our staff to be clear and consistent with the service being provided. Regarding the overnight rooms, the appropriate practice was followed for credit card security. Although a credit card number was provided via phone to guaranty the reservations, we are still required to physically see the card and proper identification in person upon check-in, in order to verify ownership and permission to place charges. To make this process simple for group check-ins, it is best to either provide a credit card authorization form prior to arrival or for the cardholder to be present at the time the group is checking in. We hope that you will understand that this safeguard is in place (across the hotel industry) in the best interests of our guests' financial security. Overnight for Training

I just needed a place to stay overnight for a 2-day training in East Lansing. I was very happy with the staff and room I stayed in. The room was very clean and updated, with electrical outlets everywhere. I did not use any of the amenities.
