Strange Hotel Layout

The hotel is old and generally rough around the edges. The one thing that we couldn't get over is that the pool and hot tub are right in the middle of the hotel atrium... in the middle of the hotel. Pool placement made the hotel pretty humid and dank and lots of screaming kids.

The bar and restaurant aren't open for lunch so plan to go outside the hotel for that, though the area has plenty or restaurant selections if you don't mind DUI'ing when day drinking is on the agenda.

The staff are exactly what you expect from Crowne Plaza so there won't be any disappointments with that.

Great breakfast. found not having a refrigerator in the room was not convenient and there was quite a bit of highway noise.

Overall, staff was nice and the facility was clean.

Good place to stay at and not bad with the price

Other than one front desk worker this hotel is a great place to stay at and at a fair price. Be warned, though, that the rooms have those mattresses that adjust to how soft/firm you want it, and thus you might not get a very good nights sleep. They do have a very good swimming pool and a HUGE hot tub that is great to soak in. Great workout room to help relieve the stress of the day, and the restaruant/bar does server very good food.
