Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Leon Experience Thank you very much for opportunity to share my experience in Crown Plaza Leon Guanajuato. Initial impression was very positive but very soon minor negative points became really annoying 1) Only reception desk staff speaks english. I am not expecting advanced knowledge but restaurant staff has to be able to translate to english the dish content and english name of the dish. In case of Crowne Plaza restaurant it was easy to learn spanish that expect stuff to know english. 2) Even if pool is pretended to be closed for unauthorized access the door was opened all day time. In general pool is too small for adults at all. 3) During rains the rain is not only outside but inside internal area hall too. Rain drops appears in your cup of tea, dish and face even if you sit in a restaurant. 4) There is no way to control temperature in a room. Cleaning stuff take the key and every day in the evening you came you came back to the hot and stuffy cave. It takes around 20-30 min before temperature in a room became convinient. One of my colleagues has even worser issue she was not able to predict what tmperature would be targeted by conditioner sometimes it became hotter another day cooler without any change of parameters. 5) Last but not least laundry. It is completely disaster. I have gave them designer vest that costs £150. Specially highlight for staff that it has to be treated carefully. And as result of laundry stuff irresponsibility and unprofessionalism got glue spot that is not really possible to clean anymore. The front desk personal are friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. The housekeeping dept does a great job and also courteous. The bell staff is always present and willing to help and the restaurant staff are very hard working and do a great job. August 27, 2014

La calidad de las instalaciones es excelente, los servicios prestados también. Pero lo más destacable es la calidad profesional y humana de su personal, su amabilidad, su exquisito trato y su profesionalidad. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Pequeño detalle Mi estancia fue agradable y de acuerdo con mis expectativas. El único detalle que me pareció desagradable fue la falta de atención en servicio de Valet Parking. Llegando tarde el Jueves 21/08 no hubo nadie para recibir mi coche. Lo tuve que estacionar yo en el estacionamiento del motor lobby donde permaneció hasta mi salida el día siguiente. El Buffet desayuno merece ser revisado : Los alimentos son cocinas con mucha grasa, la estación para que el cliente se prepare su sandwich es escueta. Poner un tostador de pan sería un buen toque, carnes frías y queso con más variedad y mejor calidad. El cocinero que hace los huevos al momento es muy agradable y eficiente. August 25, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Keep up the good work! We love this hotel. I stayed there six times over the last 7 weeks because of business. My kids and wife joined me on a couple of occasions. We love the indoor pool and the facilities around it. Unfortunately on this stay the room's bathroom had some issues. The glass door that separates the toilette from the faucet had been removed, perhaps for maintenance. The shower handle fell off when operating it. The same happened with the toilette handle. Maintenance fixed both quickly but the toilette handle would now jam and let water run. The carpet in some of the rooms starts to look old or dirty. In summary I recommend putting special care on maintaining the facilities. On a couple of times I've asked for a late checkout, the receptionist has informed me that I can stay for only one more hour, that's at 2 pm instead of 1 pm. Being a Platinum member I was seeking to leave at 3 or 4 pm. The hotel didn't seem to be full. I thank the hotel staff for their attention and expect to return soon. August 9, 2014
