Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mal servicio en Recepción Pésima gestión de la gerencia de este hotel al poner personas sin experiencia, sin entrenamiento y lo peor sin perfil de servicio en un área tan crítica como la Recepción. Más de 30 minutos para hacer un check in?? es increíble y luego volver porque no sabían como programar una llave para habitación. Internet de mala calidad (claro es Iusacell) y lo peor es que te lo cobran a pesar de que en teoría lo tienes en cortesia por su nivel IHG que por cierto vale para puro cuento en este hotel. LA PEOR experiencia he tenido respecto al servicio en más de 20 Crowne Plaza que visitado. Muy mal el operador... June 14, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall very good hotel but for the Wi-Fi Stayed at this hotel for the last 4 months, so can't complain too much. Location is near Plaza Mayor shopping maul (the largest in Leon#, with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance so you don't have to take a cab. It's also very safe, as long as you take care crossing the roads. Mexican drivers can be unpredictable. Facilities at the hotel are good, with a small fitness gym and spa/massage services available. If you wish for something more, then there is a large fitness club next to the hotel with swimming pool, squash courts and a large number of all the latest fitness equipment. You can get a free pass if you enquire and they do offer a reduced day rate for hotel guests. The other side of the hotel is a casino, and there is a Walmart across the road if you need any other to buy anything. As for the hotel, the rooms are good, spacious and clean, though they could do with including a fridge or mini-bar so you don't have to order drinks on room service. The restaurant is generally good, though can prove to be limited #if you have spent over 4 months there# and particularly if you are not a fan of sushi. The waiters and cleaning staff are all very friendly and provide a very good level of service, however, the quality of the reception desk is very poor, as far as organisation and reliability in my opinion. Very much below what might be expected from this level of hotel. Other than that, the biggest issue I've had is with the quality of the Wi-Fi facilities in the hotel. To say at best, they are very hit and miss, with a lot of the rooms getting no reception and then with only a very slow transfer rate. This has also been a issue with a lot of my colleagues that have come from the US and stayed at the hotel. So much so tat some have moved to other hotels because of it). For most business travellers, relying on Wi-Fi, this can be a big problem. Overall would I recommend the hotel, yes. It's well located, has good facilities and staff, and other than the couple of issues I mentioned, has been a good place to stay. October 18, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Noise and pool Everything was ok, but when the other roomes were occupied, I could hear their voices, when their t.v. was on, so, at some moments of the night, the atmosphere is in general noisy. Something else, the hotel uses the pool area as an area for different events; that is no comfortable for the guests, because one cannot use the pool, even if it is included in the price. MY ONLY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK IS ABOUT WEEKEND´S BREAKFAST BUFFET, IT SHOULD BE PERIODICALLY CHANGED . Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dining & Lounge Experiences Food service is eratic and at best boring, the quality of the food is often disappointing. Kitchen could use a wake-up call or a new head chef. The lounge atmosphere is depressing. Furniture is worn out, no barstools etc., with a little imagination it could be significantly better. Seems as though the hotel regards it as a nuisance instead of a potential revenue center. January 19, 2013
