Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gute Möglichkeit für einen kurzen Aufenthalt Der Empfang war freundlich und kompetent. Alles wirkte sauber und in gutem Zustand. Vor dem Hotel stehen öffentliche Parkplätze zur Verfügung, welche von 19 - 9 Uhr kostenlos sind. Davor besteht die Möglichkeit 30 min. kostenlos zu parken. Direkt am Ring gelegen und somit zu den Hauptverkehrszeiten etwas laut, was jedoch im Zimmer nicht besonders stört. Das Zimmer war HIE Standard. Leider nur wenige deutsche TV Sender. Wifi war stabil und kostenlos, schneller Geschwindigkeit ist aber kostenpflichtig. Bandbreite reichte aber locker für IPTV. Leider war das Bett etwas weich, aber nicht unbequem für eine Nacht. Frühstück war ok, alles da, was man braucht und von guter Qualität. Wem das nicht reicht, der kann auch im Self-Service-Shop im Rezeptionsbereich einkaufen. Um das Hotel gibt es sehr viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wie auch Restaurants, die alles zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Im Schwesterhotel HolidayInn darf die Sauna gegen Gebühr genutzt werden. Das empfehle ich aber nicht, da sie viel zu klein und ungemütlich ist. Alles in allem war es ok. Preis-Leistung ok, wobei Hasselt generell eher hochpreisig ist. February 24, 2014

Good breakfast, good bed, rather clean room (if u don’t mind a hair more or the less in the bathroom) maybe time to renovate some rooms (had already several rooms with damaged front door and “over time carpet”). Staff can be called “nice” but a little too “amicably” friendly maybe because it’s "only" a 3* Hotel, a look in the eyes, headshake, a “hi” will do (?) Staff is surely not bad, but some reorientation in “Hotel businesses approach” can be recommended, even when its "only" a 3* Hotel… September 10, 2013

Me he alojado en muchos Express a lo largo de mis viajes de vacaciones y creo que este, aún dentro de los estándares de la cadena, tiene muchas deficiencias para mejorar. No suelo dar una opinión negativa, normalmente me centro en destacar las buenas cualidades y servicios obtenidos. Y por ahí voy a empezar. Nos alojamos cuatro noches para visitar varias localidades cercanas de esta zona de Bélgica, el emplazamiento es ideal para ir a sitios como Maestrich, Spa, Lieja, e incluso nos acercamos un día hasta Colonia y Aquisgrán y otro día hasta Luxemburgo. La atención por parte del personal fue muy buena, se nos reconoció nuestra condición de miembro del Priority Club y ya estaba nuestra habitación preparada al llegar, lo cual tomo apenas unos minutos en preparar el "check-in". El desayuno estaba completo, con una buena variedad, superior a lo normal en hoteles de esta categoría, pero dentro de lo que es habitual en los HInn Express. La relación calidad-precio es excelente. Sin embargo, encontramos varias deficiencias que me gustaría comentar a modo de crítica constructiva. Había un olor desagradable en la habitación posiblemente producto de algún derrame de agua en la moqueta o del aire acondicionado. No era tan molesto como para pedir un cambio de habitación, y como la ventana se abría completamente, optamos por mantenerla abierta por el día para fomentar la ventilación. El desagüe del plato de la ducha no absorbía bien el agua, lo que resultaba que se creara un nivel de agua en el mismo un poco molesto cuando te duchabas, como no se dieron cuenta de esto uno de los días les dejé la tapa quitada y lo llené de agua para que lo vieran. Tengo que decir que esa noche al regresar ya lo habían solucionado. Respecto a la limpieza, he de decir que fue bastante mediocre, el día que llegamos nos encontramos el mosquito aplastado que muestro en la fotografía, y estuvo haciéndonos compañía el resto de los días. Mi mujer, su profesión es "Houskeeper", dejó a propósito un pequeña goma elástica en el suelo para ver qué ocurría y al regresar por la noche estaba en el mismo sitio dónde la dejó. Quisiera que esta crítica fuese un toque de atención para que se mejoren estos aspectos de limpieza, que es más un problema de organización que de trabajo en si mismo. Yo probablemente, volvería a utilizar el servicio del hotel, pues tengo gran confianza en la marca "Express" y los seguiré usando, sin dudarlo. Quizá no vuelva a Belgica en un plazo breve, pero si necesitase ir a Hasselt, volvería a ir a éste hotel, esperando que estas pequeños fallos se hubiesen subsanado. Es una pena que, estando en una ciudad bien comunicada y muy práctica para visitar otros lugares, pequeños detalles como estos enturbien la imagen de unos hoteles que nos prestan un servicio ideal para viajar con presupuestos más limitados, pero no por ello, con menos calidad. Extremely helpful and friendly, he let us know where to park, where to have dinner and the whole check-in process was completed very quick and effective. The rooms and lobby were clean as in all HiEx we stayed, nothing to complain about. Only the elevator seemed a bit outdated. Breakfast in the morning was way better than expected, everything you could imagine from a continental-european breakfast. Altogether, a great place to stay in a beautiful little town, walking distance from the small downtown streets and restaurants. November 15, 2012
