Great place to stay for the Little Rock Marathon

We stayed here for the Little Rock Marathon. The hotel is exactly what we wanted, above average without getting into the overpriced "deluxe" hotels.
Check-in was quick, the reservation was exactly correct (there was a special price -- nice -- for the runners).
There was plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower, that was a godsend upon returning after the freezing rain throughout the marathon. There was fast and delicious room service, there was an excellent lunch dine-in menu (dinner was a little disappointing, I give the steak and rice pilaf a "7 out of 10"). The food service was fast, friendly, with a good bartender and clean atmosphere.
There is a Starbucks in the lobby, great place to start your day. The "Rocks" bar is a great place to end your night.
We didn't use the pool (rather small, more of a kiddie spash pool than anything for serious swimming) or the fitness center (a few treadmils, ellipticals, stationary bikes, but not serious workout space and no serious weights or machines). The fitness center would be enough for the casual traveler.

Bedding, pillows, room temperature, peace and quiet = all 10 out of 10.

Improvement needed: more bandwidth for the wi-fi internet. Keeping up with text and e-mail = no problem. Try and watch a video = delays for buffering.

The in-room coffee pot was fine, some tea bags in addition to the coffee grounds would be nice.

Great Service

By

Best experience. Our team got snowed out of our hometown after our State Meet. The manager came in on her day off to make sure our team had a place to stay. Would recommend this hotel to any coach with multiple rooms or any group reservation.
