Wasnt the greatest to be honest - let itself down

Rewards stay and was looking forward to it.

Room was supposed to be available from 2 but wasnt - reception gave us free drinks vouchers whilst we waited for 45 minutes but really should have been ready. Room was ok until i opened the curtains and spotted a lighter and cigarette ash on the window sill. we moved. sadly this room was a much smaller one with a much smaller bed - asked to move again. Third time lucky was ok

Gym next door was brilliant with swimming pools too very much recommended.

average enough stay but poor experience for priority club members

The stay was average enough and i have stayed at this hotel many times. The recent change to the policy around lounge access for platinum club members made me feel like a second class citizen and to my mind is the only crowne plaza in the world that does this. On one hand you are being told thanks for being one of our loyal customers and on another hand the hotels saying you are incredibly loyal but you cant have this benefit which everyone else on the exec floor recieves. It felt like your getting half a reward (room upgrade) deal with it and be grateful for what youve got.
